So pleased with this set! I’m getting back into wearing eyeshadow regularly and wanted another brush (I have an Ecotools one that I’ve had for years).
I love that these brushes are double ended. There’s an eyeshadow applicator, a blender, a chisel edged liner and a smudger. All are soft but dense and excellent quality, and between them cover all my admittedly basic shadow needs (2 shades and a liner).
I almost bought a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow brush for £20 in their weekend 20% off sale but I’ve now got four for £7.60! For the quality and the price, this set is a must-have.

The newest iteration of this duo is great. The most important thing is that they work: they can smudge, blend, and apply eyeshadow easily. Also thy are not as stiff and scratchy as they once were. They are softer and more flexible than before. I have small, hooded eyes and the crease brush works great for me.
After trying out so many drugstore brushes I can reccomend Ecotools above any other affordable brand for eye brushes. This duo and the other eye set with detail brushes it’s all you need (really). Real techniques has only satisfied me somewhat in the complexion category, and even there they are hit or miss. For example the RT Multi Tasker brush is awesome, but the blush brush? not so much.

Great set of brushes. They are so easy to use and I think that are perfect especially for a beginner. I did not have any problems when I washed them and they dry well. I have them for three months and I used them almost every day. I wash them once a week with plain soap and water. I will definitely repurchase.

These are a great value and earth friendly so I keep giving the company a shot but I find with their brushes they’re a bit pokey. Probably not enough to bother most people but my skin has become hypersensitive over the past decade. So I say yes for others but no for me 🙁

After looking for small eye brushes to finish my brush set, I stumbled across these ones at Ulta. I really like how it’s double sided because it takes up less space in my already cluttered makeup bag. For the price I would say these brushes are okay. I have no problems with blending. I just find that the actual hairs themselves can sometimes feel sharp on my lid. Good for a pinch but not great. I prefer to use the wet n wild ones and they’re only 99 cents.

This is a great set for about $9 @Walmart…Ecotools makes fabulous brushes, I have about 10, and love them all…I used to spend big bucks on brushes, but the last few years have been super happy with my Ecotools and Real Techniques brushes…I do spend the money on Beauty Blenders still, but haven’t spent over $14 for a brush in awhile.. This set is great for traveling/makeup bag, they are high quality, and a definite must have!

Huh…reading the last review, I had to respond. I’m wondering about the washing. Until I found the technique of using my silicone face scrubbie as a pad for cleaning my brushes, I had a hard time getting all the soap out, and wonder if that’s what may have happened here.
I really like these brushes; particularly, I like the round smudger tip for softly applying my crease color under the eyes. The others are all great too, but not quite as unique. They are pretty dense though, so I can see having trouble getting all the soap out.

I think this duo is great especially for beginners! It has the basic brushes needed for any eyelook: a base shadow brush, blending brush, eyeliner/brow brush and a smudger brush (I actually use this as a smudger brush AND a base shadow brush because I have small eyes). The brushes are nice and soft and easy to work with. I will say that I wish the blending brush was a bit bigger so it would be easier to blend transition colors. It still does the job but you have to work just a bit harder. It it great for precise placement of product into the crease though!
The price is fantastic. I got it for about $6.00 at my local Walmart. So $6.00 for essentially 4 brushes… That’s $1.50 a pop. Inexpensive but still great quality.
The packaging is cute. The yellow and brown look nice together in my opinion. It’s sturdy and comfortable to hold in the hand. Storing it may be tricky considering it is dual ended, but I just lay it flat in my makeup container.
All in all, this duo is awesome! Would definitlely recommend to anyone. 🙂

This set is a really great value. You get four brushes for the price of what is usually one brush. I like that these are double-sided as that makes them more compact. My favorite brush is the blender brush, which blends eyeshadow perfectly.

This was a total disappointment and a waste of money. I love Ecotools brushes and that is why I decided to get this duo. For the low price, 4 brushes seemed like a great bargain….and it was until I washed them.
I used the most gentle baby shampoo to wash the brushes, SLS and soap-free. I have been using this shampoo for years for all my brushes and none of them, high-end or low-end gets ruined afterwards. I made sure all the lather was completely washed out, then I laid this duo flat to dry. However, it was just ruined and for the above reasons, I am sure it is not from the shampoo or the washing. The brushes did not shed, but they had become so stiff that I was hurting and scratching my eyes when I used this duo.
I will have to go and get some individual Morphe or Real Techniques eye brushes now……

These are the first brushes that I’ve ever purchased from Ecotools, but they wont be the last. I had to toss the eyeshadow brushes that I’ve had for years after they started to shed and the handles loosened on them. I was browsing Ulta’s website and noticed that these were moderately priced and highly rated so I ordered the set. And…I love them. I like that this is truly and all-in-one set. There is a good fluffy brush that I’m really enjoying for crease work on my droopy, hooded eyes. Each of the brush heads are very soft yet dense. They can pack on and blend colors very nicely. I like that they are double-ended and are so easy to travel with. I store them in the plastic and cloth package they came in to keep them free of dust. I will be purchasing the buffing brush next!

This is a great all in one set. they are very soft and there has been no shedding and I’ve had these for a couple of months. I use the DEFINE to apply shadow to my lower lash line for a smoky look the SHADE to pack on color on my lid. The BLEND to blend out my crease color (not to apply the crease color) and the SMUDGE I use for my inner corners. This would be a great set for beginners as well.
