   I am beyond happy with this set of eye brushes. I basically didn’t know anything about the brand when I ordered it except for the fact that this particular line was vegan, but I’m so glad I took a shot at it. I think I will turn to this brand again in the future when I need a certain brush. All brushes are soft, dense and picks up product well. I haven’t washed them too many times yet, but they feel sturdy and like they’ll hold up well. The handles are somewhere between a “full size” brush and a travel size – a length that I’m quite comfortable with. For reference, they’re just a fraction shorter than the Real Techniques brushes from their eye set, but Ecotools’ eye brushes have a few centimeters on them.

   The set includes:
   #781 Crease – a round, quite dense brush that I mainly use to add depth to the outer corner of the eye, as well as on the lower lash line. A very good size for the crease, but personally I prefer a fluffier brush for applying shadow there.

   #777 Shadow – a pretty standard flat eyeshadow brush, on the smaller side. Picks up product well, you can pack on the pigment with it nicely.

   #769 Angled contour – To be honest, I haven’t really gotten the hang of using this brush yet. I guess I’m just a bit confused about how I’ll use such a large brush for eye makeup. It’s kind of similar to RT’s so-called crease brush (I say so-called because its size is ridiculous for a crease brush, and it’s best used for concealer in my opinion) in size, only angled. I do still use this brush, but so far it’s mainly been to apply cream contour on my face. Maybe I’ll figure out what its intended purpose is eventually…

   #760 Liner/Brow – this is THE best eyeliner brush I own! No question about it. It’s super fine, dense yet soft and just all-around lovely to use for liner. I love using this with cream eyeliner to create a winged eyeliner look, the precision is fantastic. I haven’t used it for my brows, since it would take me forever to fill in my bushy brows that way, but for someone with thin and/or sparse brows I can imagine that it could work well if you want to create the illusion of more brow hair.

   #716 Smoky Eyeliner – Another good eyeliner brush, though personally I’ve only used it with shadow so far. It’s pretty much a smaller and more pointed version of #781, and you can either be very precise with it or smudge out your lines. Another brush that works well for the lower lash line. The skin under my eye happens to be very sensitive, and this along with #781 are two of the very few brushes that I can comfortably use to blend out shadow there with no irritation whatsoever.

   + Synthetic/vegan/cruelty free (though some of their brushes are natural hair or a mix of natural hair and syntetic bristles. Check the information for each brush if you want vegan brushes, or you could use their “Brush finder” function and tick the box for vegan brushes!)
   + Soft but dense bristles
   + Bright and fun. Three other bambu lines are available – pink, green and purple.
   + Handmade
   + Affordable. For once I paid less for a makeup item in Sweden (the country of expensive beauty products..) than it retails for on their website – I paid around 170SEK ($20), and on bdellium tools’ website it’s $27. Even at that slightly higher price, at $5.40 per brush I still consider that a really good deal.
   + Sustainable – made from bamboo.
   + Comes in a little “tube” that is perfect for storing eyeshadow brushes when travelling. Fits more than the five included in the set.
   + The eyeliner brush – I can’t overstate how freaking good it is!

   – I’m missing a blending brush in the set, that really would’ve made the set perfect. I’d be okay with seeing the Angled contour go to make room for it.
