Avène Xeracalm Ad Lipid-replenishing Balm
I recently saw this mentioned in a few places (for it’s new and unique formulation) online and in print mags and wanted to give it a try for a small patch of dermatitis. It’s been about a week and it is slowly building back a healthy skin barrier but WOW it is the best eye cream EVER. Not kidding – over the years I’ve tried many from drugstore to counter to derm and this blows them all out of the water. It feels greasy, sinks in slowly but doesn’t interfere with concealer or foundation over the eye area. Like no other product, my eye area actually looks better after just a few days and with no sensitivity or irritation. Also, my test of the true oiliness of a cream is whether or not it rinses off cleanly with just water – yes, this does! The 200ml tube is huge and I ordered mine online for 32.00.

This is my saver. Every time we change season, my skin becomes super dry and tends to do dry patches. This repulps my skin and prevents those dry patches to appear. This is a keeper for me.
