Wild Argan Oil body lotion absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue, which makes it good as a hand lotion as well as a body lotion. However, the scent is incredibly strong, and smells quite a bit like vintage sunscreen that has a slightly rancid banana/white floral note. I kind of love this even though I realize objectively it’s gross. The scent is tenacious and lingers in all it’s tropical playdoh plasticy goodness.
Because of the strong polarizing scent, I would not feel comfortable wearing this in close quarters among strangers or co-workers. For a vintage beach inspired stay-cation I think it does a great job though. Moisturizes decently. I would not recommend this product unless you enjoy fake banana and perfume that smells like ground up Barbies.

This lotion is moisturising and does leave my skin feeling really soft for the whole day. However, it doesn’t smell all that great. I can’t quite put my finger on what the scent is, but it smells really chemically to me which is off-putting when applying it because it’s also a very strong scent. I also feel like I have to use a lot more of this to get the same levels of moisturisation and hydration I experience when I use the body butters. Overall I’m glad I’ve tried it as the Argan Oil range was one of the new ones at TBS that had me intrigued, but I don’t think I would choose this over their body butters.

Love this bottle of lotion! My eczema has left really dry flaky skin on my body and I need good moisturiser that is also light.
This moisturiser is light, absorbs fast, not greasy but also moisturising. Perfect combination for morning routine.
I love pump bottles for accurate measurements and prevents loss of quality (tub’s frequent opening will result in loss of the quality of the product).
The smell takes getting use to but that’s the only thing I can see how this might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
