Another amazing Skin Food product. This is a lovely, thick, emollient butter that spreads easily and sinks right in. It has the traditional Skin Food smell (which I happen to really like), and it leaves my skin so soft and moisturized. It’s been a real skin saver for my hands too, I’ve always had an issue with dry hands and cuticles in winter and using this has fixed my hands right up with minimal effort.

Love at first use. Last night I slathered this on my hands and arms, and when I woke up today I noticed that my skin was velvety and the lines on my hands were less visible. I have very dry skin and live in a desert. Most lotions do nothing for me, so I’m always looking for a slightly greasy moisturizer that my skin can absorb. This is it.
Picked it up at Whole Foods for about $15. Love the original Skin Food, but sometimes you want something a little easier to spread. It’s a very firm cream, and a little dab will do ya. Slightly greasy on application, but dry skin will drink it up. Scent is faint, and smells like citrus vanilla to me. Definitely unisex. Have no idea how the geniuses at Weleda came up with a cream this moisturizing that does not leave a film on touch screens!
I have spent so much money on expensive frou-frou creams that do nothing for my skin. $15 isn’t cheap, but it’s a great value for something that works so well. Weleda has knocked the ball out of the park with this body butter.

If you love Weleda Skin food, then you absolutely need to get some of this. Have you ever wanted to or tried to use the original cream in the tube on your body, but found it too difficult to spread or could never justify using a large quantity for such a thing? Well the body butter version solves this as it is creamier and smoothes out thinner to get all of the skin food yumminess over large body parts. Instead of using beeswax to thicken the cream, the body butter has cocoa seed butter and shea butter.
The jar holds twice as much product as the large tube of cream at the same price but a little goes a long way. It also smells similar, perhaps a bit sweeter because of the cocoa and shea butters. I like using it when I feel like giving my skin a luxurious drink of moisture. I still prefer the original cream to use on my hands and face.
