The is the most boring and un-glamorous way to achieve and maintain beautiful skin all over your body.
Unscented and very effective in smoothing and moisturizing, although some may want to use under another moisturizer if skin is really dry.

First, I want to point out that the product pictured here is not the product in the title.
This stuff changed the texture of my skin, especially on my legs. I have always moisturized and taken care of myself, and I’ve tried Paula’s Choice exfoliating body lotions. But I have never seen such a change in my skin as this product produced. After using it for a few months, I had fewer ingrown hairs, and the smoothness of my legs is remarkable. I didn’t notice a huge change in the texture of my arms and hands, but I do notice much better results from my self-tanning products. I went through 2 bottles of it, which I got on sale for a great price online (sorry, can’t remember where) when I was in the US. I would keep buying it, but I can’t find it in Europe for a reasonable price. 🙁
I will definitely buy more of this the next time I’m in the US. In the meantime, I’m going to try out a new product, Dermasence AHA Body & Face Lotion, that is sold in European pharmacies.

HG body lotion ’till the end of time.
This gives me the softest skin, clears out any mystery bumps I might have, and over time makes my skin healthier. I use it in conjunction with a urea lotion (10% to 20%, whatever I’ve bought at the time) after seeing a review on Hotandflashy.com.
I need to write to the company and see if they’ll give me a bulk discount. It’s thick enough that I really go through it quickly and I want like a gallon with a pump like you see at movie concessions with that fake nacho cheese. It’s that good.
Alpha Skincare has been my go-to for glycolic products for many years. They’re at the correct pH and actually tell you what % is in the product. They are also cruely free!

Thick heavy lotion that never, and I mean never, absorbs into the skin. Skin feels clammy and gross for hours. Clothes stick to your skin, no matter how long you’ve waited to get dressed. God help you if you’re wearing a silky blouse or anything that hugs the body. Hot weather makes it even worse! I forced myself to use it, thinking it had good ingredients, but just couldn’t stand the way it felt.

Not sure if this Alpha Skin Care product is the same as mine. I’m from Canada and just purchased Alpha Skin Care Enhanced renewal cream 12 percent AHA. This one appears to have the same ingredients in the same order. I am new to using AHAs and have very dry skin. I was nervous because I already use retin A and Vitamin C 20% and thought my skin would react badly but it didn’t. It’s a well formulated cream. For my 54 year old skin, I use it every second night alternating with my retin A & I use vit C serum during day. I use it on my face but not my eyelids. I may start using it on my body to firm up skin there too. Great value.

I researched this lotion before purchasing online from the company. Fair skinned with a lot of sun damage on my arms, I had high hopes that it would help diminish it. After months of using this after showering and before going to bed, there is absolutely no improvement to my skin’s texture or color. For $20+ and no results, although worth a try, it is not worth a repeat purchase.

I have bought this several times over several years. While it is not extremely moisturizing, it does help create a glow to the skin due to the AHAs in the lotion. It is unscented and absorbs well. I like it when I am feeling like my skin needs some exfoliating. When I use it regularly, it does help my skin to look brighter and to feel softer and younger. It is a very nice, inexpensive and effective login that helps with natural, chemical exfoliation.

Love this lotion, especially in the winter when the heat causes even drier, thirstier skin. It’s very moisturizing and somewhat thick. I don’t purchase any other lotions now.
Alpha hydroxy acids smooth skin and help with exfoliation. After a few weeks or so of regular use, keratosis pilaris disappears.
This lotion is only sold in a few places online, so use a search engine to find it. That’s unfortunate because it’s one of the better lotions I’ve tried. I’ve tried many formulations at many different prices over the years and have not had any better results. Actually, in most cases, I’ve had less than stellar results with more expensive products.
This is a great product at a great price. I usually order 3 bottles at once. It’s important to store lotion in a cabinet or something, as sunlight can break down the AHAs, making them less effective.
Now for the cons:
1. As others have mentioned, no fragrances have been added, so it just smells like bland lotion. But at least it won’t interfere with perfumes.
2. The bottle could be better done, perhaps adding a pump dispenser. At least configure the top so the bottle can be stored upside down.
The lotion is somewhat thick so, as the amount dwindles, you end up shaking and/or squeezing the bottle wildly to dispense enough lotion. It’s a pain. I prop it upside against something and wait a while (or leave it overnight), but there has to be a better way.
3. Also related to the bottle, making it opaque would help prevent sunlight from eventually reducing the effectiveness of the AHAs.

I really love this body lotion! I have only been using it a few days, so I look forward to writing another review in a few more weeks, but so far so good. It is very moisturizing. Stings a tiny bit when you first put it on, but that goes away quickly. Leaves my dry arms and chest extremely silky smooth. I am excited to see if it makes any difference in my porokeratosis on my arms. They are very dry and rough. Time will tell…
Update: It’s been over 5 months now and I still love this lotion! My skin is hydrated and smooth 🙂

It’s an ok body lotion…leaves my body smooth and the smell is ok. I bought it to use it on my feet because the ingredients are the same as in the foot cream but didn’t really do anything great to make me buy it again.
