This is one surprisingly inexpensive and yet effective hand moisturizer. Not in a million years, judging by its ingredients list did I think this would make an ounce of difference to my dry hands. It’s literally full of chemical/artificial ingredients, absolutely nothing natural or organic in here whatsoever so far as I can tell. When I think about how many tubes of this I could go through in a year and therefore what my body will be absorbing throughout that period, it just isn’t a pleasant thought! I actually tried it only because my HG (Origins Make a difference) was running out and I quickly checked reviews for other hand creams online, finding this had some of the best reviews I’ve ever seen for a hand moisturizer. That plus the cost being 3 times less than Origins and I just had to try it out! It is perfumed and the initial note is almost like a rose jelly which is quickly overpowered by a floral fragrance. I wish the initial note could last longer as it’s scrumptious. The texture is the biggest surprise….I was expecting some thick emollient hand cream/salve but it’s literally a lightweight lotion! Why they called this a hand cream I really don’t know, it’s a hand lotion! I’ve used it almost 2 weeks now and the results are fantastic. It is very light and fairly non-greasy and yet it somehow leaves my hands in great condition. The reviews were spot on with this one, I just wish it was more botanical based and more natural, in which case it would be the perfect hand cream (or lotion).

This is a great hand cream, it works to repair cracked hands. I’m a nurse and wash my hand ten thousand times a day so they get pretty sore. My only gripe is the fragrance, it’s listed at the very bottom of the ingredient list but I find it a strong smell. It’s an unnecessary addition, but doesn’t affect the performance of the cream.

Im a healthcare professional so I constantly use harsh desinfectants on my hands. When you combine that with cold winters, you arent in for a good ride. I remember, couple of years ago, the skin on my hands was cracking on the slightest movement to the point of bleeding. I tried everything, Aquaphor, Cold cream, Nivea, you name it. Until I found this and gave it a go. Holy cow! I saw results in just one day!!! My skin started to recover, the wounds were healing and it was no longer cracking. And this product is ao light in texture you wouldn’t expect it to give any results. Ever since, this is the only hand cream I use. Definitely a HG for me.

A good no nonsense, affordable hand cream. Light but soothing and absorbs easily.

I’ve recently started work in a canteen and my hands never knew what hit them! Strong detergents, constant drying up ( and I don’t always wear gloves) and my hands were getting cut as they split and were so sore. I tried various things and they stayed dry and sore but this, this made them feel soft and gorgeous within 2 applications. Love it !

Soothes & moisturizes my eczema prone itchy dry hands. My favourite St.Ives was discontinued, and I’ve tried most of the current aveeno, vaseline, and so forth.
This is quite different from the usual hand creams. I respectfully disagree with the reviewer who said it is a pretty standard formula. For anyone struggling with eczema the search for stuff that really works is a long difficult process.
Up till now the CeraVe in the big tub was best but this is a cut above.
It leaves my hands feeling calm not itchy, and the calm feeling lasts for hours. Like a slathering of cortisone cream.
It moisturises for hours. Till I wash my hands, then reapply.
I’m using it in the depth of January when dry skin is a serious problem for me.
I won’t waste money on anything else till this cream gets discontinued which I hope is never!!!!!
Bottom line, if you need it this is worth it. If you don’t care, then most creams will do. In Canada I got it on a 2 for 1 costing 10$ so even if I spend 10 for a single tube it saves me the cost of 2 to 3 duds that I bought that didn’t touch my dry itchy reactive skin.

Going out to by my third tube of this cream now. It’s great, immediately moisturizers dry hands. But unfortunately I use up one tube in two weeks… I love the scent it’s very subtle and elegant for a pharmacy brand.
UPDATE: Since I kept running out of Lipikar super quickly I tried some cheaper hand creams and for now my absolute favorite is cheap grocery chain Lidl’s Cien Madame Glamour Hand Cream. Completely different from LRP Lipikar in that it is not a pharmacy brand and it is heavily scented. But – as far as moisturizing goes – it is doing a far better job than Lipikar.

Ive tried one hand cream after the next in search of an excellent handcream that is inexpensive but does an excellent job. Ive tried everything from the drugstore brands to some high end brands but since trying this, I can say with fair certainty that this is the HG hand cream for me.
The Vichy handcream is good but it left a bit of residue & I hated the tube. The L’Occitane handcreams are excellent but very expensive. The drugstore brands dont work but they’re cheap.
This one moisturises without leaving residue, has NO PARABENS, has only a subtle fragrance, is affordable & leaves your hands feeling wonderful after first application.
Excellent product. Highly recommended.

This cream transformed by chronically dry, scaly hands which seemed beyond repaired. I tried many others including: L’occataine and Clarins but this really works. After using it once it had an immediate effect and 2 more times and they are perfectly moisturised, for previously lizard-like hands it’s amazing. I bought a small tube for €5, can’t say any better than that really. Smell is not great but better than overly perfumed hand creams that swamp the market.

I love this product for a few reasons: 1. it is not sticky but still feel rich and moisturizing. 2. it smells fine. 3. no parben 4. inexpensive. 5. when i washed my hands, I didn’t feel the residue on my hands, which indictates that the product absorbs into my skin really well. I love this plain hand cream more than other expensive ones in the market. I ‘ve gotten mine where there is buy one get 1 free promotion. Love it if it smells less than it is.
