I’ve just finished a 32 oz bottle of the unscented lotion. Meh. I love that it is truly unscented and doesn’t compete with whatever fragrance I use. I live in a high-humidity area and I still don’t feel this truly moisturizes or sinks in. I suppose it is a good basic lotion but there are far better basic lotions in the “natural” market. I was ready for this bottle to be done and will not repurchase. (Prior to this one, I had the lavender version- same experience. Light and hardly moisturized or sank in. Blah.)

Skin type (for body): Dry, sensitive
Packaging: Gave it a 4/5. The pump bottle is hygienic and lockable. However, it’s huge so that makes it difficult to fit in the shower and to travel with.
Price: Amazing! For about $10 you get 32 ounces, definitely good value.
I love the matching body wash, so I few months ago I decided that I would try out the lotion. I bought this in the scent Vanilla. Back when I bought this in February I wasn’t entirely pleased. It didn’t moisturize my skin as much as I had hoped and I ended up simply using it as a hand cream. However, I decided to try it out again this May since the weather wasn’t as harsh. And the lotion works much better now! I apply it right when I get out of the shower. The consistency is light, not very thick. It sinks in quickly, and provides enough moisture without leaving me feeling greasy in the heat. The scent does fade on my skin with time, but I don’t mind since then it doesn’t clash with anything.
It’s been over a month of daily use and I’ve barely made a dent in the bottle; so this will probably last me around 6 months like the matching wash did. While I think this lotion is a bit too light for the harsh New England Winters, I’ll definitely be using it during the other seasons. I recommend this as a warmer weather option.

This review is for the Lavender scent:
Let me just say that I have been on the hunt for many many years for my dry skin for the right lotion for me… But long and behold, here it is (possibly!). I was out grocery shopping at Whole Foods and decided to browse around their beauty selection and stumbled upon this product. I remember reading up on the benefits of shea butter and have been on the hunt for it since (although I’m not a fan of it as is, it’s too difficult to apply!) and decided to try it out after reading the bottle (gluten free, unrefined ingredients, no synthetic fragrances, no animal testing, vegan, paraben free, non-gmo shea) and its first ingredient didn’t start out with water – that’s a definite first!
I will say that when I first applied this on my skin after showering I was a little confused as to whether or not I purchased an expired bottle – the texture when rubbed into my skin felt as if I was putting water on it. Obviously, the product wasn’t expired and I guess this is just how it works.
Anyways, the product itself absorbed quickly into my skin with no grease leftover! The following morning I woke up to perfectly smooth and silky skin; I was in complete awe and utter shock – this has never happened to me with any other lotion products before!
It’s last effects were pretty good too; after two or a few applications, any other skipped days after, my skin looked fine and it wasn’t dry or ashy – crazy.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this! I, personally, do not like putting on lotion, but this is such an easy application because of how smooth its texture is and the results are fantastic! I will say though that in terms of sent, out of all of the lotions that are out on this line I would definitely say pick up the lavender one! The others smell like shea butter basically or weird.. The scent doesn’t last that long on you though overnight so also take that into account too!

I have the vanilla lotion and to be honest with you, I didn’t really think that it was all that great when I first used it. Then I went to Florida and got more sun than expected. Had this packed in my travel bag in a travel container. I didn’t feel like running to the store for a different lotion to try to prevent peeling so used this. It was great for my overexposed skin. No peeling, redness subsided very quickly. Great stuff!!

I usually buy scented lotions for the fragrance and rely on my usual unscented Cerave and jojoba oil to do the heavy lifting So, I sampled the Passion Fruit body lotion with that in mind. Smells yummy, and a good bargain ($10 /32oz pump bottle) for the scent payoff.

This is a nice lightweight lotion, economical and a great choice for those who want to stick to conscious choices from the health food store. The vanilla scent is yummy (I want to eat it) and prefer it in the summer as my skin is really dry. The 32 oz bottle is almost too generous (I often get bored with my purchases) so I suggest you try it before committing to a bottle because it will last a few months with everyday use.

I have this in both the unscented (older packaging) and passion fruit (new packaging). The unscented one does smell a little unpleasant, but it honestly isn’t as bad to my nose as some other people apparently find it. Also, I usually only use this lotion on my legs anyway, so I don’t really smell it once I put on pants. The passion fruit scent smells of fruity bubblegum with a slight note of smoky, unrefined shea.
It’s a relatively light amount of moisture IMO, but it does well enough for my legs. (I use a more moisturizing lotion everywhere else.) It also makes a nice summer lotion. I wanted something affordable enough to use on my less dehydrated/dry body skin and that wouldn’t take too long to sink in. This works very well for these purposes. I can’t remember if this was moisturizing enough to use in the coldest/driest parts of the Minnesota winter last year, but I wouldn’t mind using something else for only a couple of months if it isn’t. People with very dry skin might not find this moisturizing/heavy enough, but I think most others would like it.
I like the newer packaging and all that. The price for the amount of product you get is fair. I have no complaints with this product at all. I do think the scented ones may be better than the unscented, but I don’t really have much of an issue with the unscented one anyway.
I entered the ingredients for the unscented lotion up above.

I’m nearly 72, and need a really good lotion! THIS IS IT! I have the vanilla Everyday Shea, and will continue buying it, for sure! It doesn’t smell as vanilla as I’d like, but it is still very pleasant. I use it every day, and will never be without it again. Leaves my skin as soft as a baby’s bottom, and is gentle enough for my face, too. At this price, I slather in on, too! I find it very long lasting. The reviews are all over the place here, but I have tried SOOO many lotions, and this is the best I’ve ever found for ME, regardless of price. LOVE the fact that it is such a natural product from a very ethical and wonderful company. Would HIGHLY recommend this lotion!

This lotion works well for me. It took more than one application for me to notice it working I guess because it’s natural I don’t know. I like the fact that it is a lot of product for such a low price. I also like the fact that it has natural ingredients and it does moisturize very well for me I use it everyday when I get out of the shower. However this lotion smells God awful It’s supposed to be unscented but I personally can not stand the smell. (which is why I left out 1 lippie) I literally rush to apply this stuff and hold my breathe. I will buy Everyday Shea lotion again I will just get the vanilla or lavender.
