I’m glad I bought this this winter. i’m constantly having to expose my hands to water, disinfectant, tools, my naturally strong nails aren’t what they used to be back when they weren’t always immersed in water, and my skin is very sensitive to windy weather, prone to break out in red scaly dry patches that crack and hurt. So nothing was quite cutting it for me this winter until I got this. I was especially happy with how healing it was on my terrible hands, and I have tried many creams and ointments to heal them to no avail before. I applied it quite liberally and had no problem with it soaking in. I massage it into the cuticles and even if I’m not using tiny amounts I have no problem with it absorbing. I find that as you move to massage the next hand, it has soaked in completely on the first. If not, it does after you rub it in a bit more. It hasn’t made my cuticles perfect, but if I weren’t always exposing them to stressors, they’d be much better. My hands have never been as bad as when I went to buy this in desperation again. I only wish I had skipped tons of other products and just bought this long ago.
I like the lemony smell. Mine isn’t hard and gritty, but as with any handmade products, there’s going to be variations in batches.
It actually won’t last me forever, since I use it daily and quite a lot of it, I’m down to the last bits of it, but it has still lasted me four or five months now. I have found a baby butter with similar ingredients that works really well too, at about a third lower price for a third more product, but I still prefer this and will repurchase.
I also find that when used on natural nails it has a brightening effect. It is a little strengthening, but in my experience not more so than some simple natural oils.
It’s the only cuticle/hand product that made a favorable difference for me. I don’t mind the pot, where else would they put a thick product. If you use it with clean hands or a spatula it shouldn’t go bad quite easily.
I would think it a five star product if daily use had made my stressed skin completely calm and I never got cracked cuticles or hangnails or split nails any more- but it’s pretty darn close to that and would be perfect on someone who’s able to spare their hands reasonably.

I have always had a pretty dry cuticle area, and the fact I change my nail polish roughly every 3 days with an acetone based remover probably doesn’t help. Cue Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter! This is an extremely rich cream, with a thick and buttery consistency which melts down into the skin when massages in. I apply this nightly to my cuticles and nails, and it definitely has made an improvement. My cuticles are less dry and less ragged, and I do seem to get less hang-nails also. A little goes an extremely long way – I use a bit less then a fingertip size amount to cover all 10 nails and cuticles – so the tub will last an extremely long time, making this product great value for money. The scent is quiet lemony and fresh, with just a hint of coconut (this product does contain coconut oil). I definitely love this product and am seeing great results from it. I would happily recommend and repurchase.

I mainly use this for my nails/cuticles and I like it a lot! It really helps my nails stay healthy and nice, and the product lasts for ages basically, so it’s worth the price. The scent is pretty strong and I’m not loving it, but otherwise it was a great purchase.

I have an Instagram account for my nails and this is the ONLY product that has kept my cuticles from looking dried out. This is also good to use all over your hands when they are dry. It’s basically a miracle worker!! Bonus-it smells amazing!! Get this!!!

The best cream I’ve ever use on my hands!!!!
I have extremely dry and sensitive skin on my hands, and this works wonders! I use it as a hand-cream, and it moisturizes my hands well! I use it during the night since it is so damn sticky, and the morning after my hands looks and feels good! Not recommended for day-usage when you need a lotion thats sinks into the skin fast! It is a really thick texture, so you really don’t need a lot. Well worth the price!

I love this!!! The tub lasts for ages and is secure, the product itself is quite oily but makes an amazing moisturiser for cracked cuticles like mine, wouldn’t be without it and for the price I certainly won’t be!!

I wanted to like this. I really did. So many great reviews but after trying it I just can’t continue on with it.
There is something very sickly sweet about the smell which just doesn’t work for me. It’s hard to explain the smell but the more I smelled it the worse it was.
But it’s ok that it’s not the perfect product for me. It will be for someone else. It was worth a shot. I’d definitely say have a really good sniff of it in store and be sure before you buy.

I did like this product! I tend to use it as an intense hand cream treatment overnight, or on my dry, dry heels and elbows. I find that it softens up these areas overnight, and it’s a nice part of my night routine. The only drawbacks being that the smell is a little chemically for my taste, and the product tends to melt or harden in hot or cold weather respectively (in Australia anyway.)

hmmmm I started using this after it had already officially expired in my drawer. so I can’t really tell if my review is fair. But my experiences seem to be similar to those who gave this a rather bad review. The smell is a bit off. Normally, I love lemon scents, but this one smells a bit chemical or something. The color of the waxy creme is nice, but the consistency is a bit hard to work with. I use this every day on my feet before I put on my socks, just part of my every day routine that I sometimes do with Vaseline or Germany’s Kaufmanns Kindercreme, which both work much better than this. This elft my feet real dry after a few hours, while when you put it on, it feels much stickier and thicker. Not a winner for me.
