Total waste of money. This is a very light hand lotion that is heavily laced with all kinds of silicones. My dry hands were not hydrated, moisturized, or relieved in any way by this product.

This hand cream is alright. I keep it in my purse and it works well for on the go. It’s pretty light-weight and sinks in quickly. I like that it doesn’t make my hands greasy or slippery. I don’t know how moisturizing it is though. It has a silky feeling from all the dimethicone. It’s better than nothing but I have other hands creams that are much more moisturizing. For example, I think Hand Food from Soap & Glory is more moisturizing and not too greasy. I would go for that instead of repurchasing this.

I had completely run out of hand cream and was waiting for Sephora’s annual sale, so I thought I’d buy a less expensive drugstore hand cream to tide me over. Admittedly, it’s been hard for me to find a hand cream that I really like ever since my fave (Caudalie Vinosource) was discontinued. At first I thought this might be okay. It’s lightweight and non-greasy and doesn’t have an overwhelming or noxious fragrance. But it also doesn’t moisturize much, either. Five minutes afterward, my hands didn’t feel like I’d applied anything at all. I suppose this could possibly be passable in the summertime or under circumstances where you’re not frequently washing your hands. Otherwise, I find it rather useless. The packaging isn’t great, either. The cap twists off (not a fan of detached caps) and because the formula is so thin, it comes out a bit too easily and pools in the cap.

No hand cream is perfect. I don’t know of any hand cream that keeps you hydrated for most of the day.
This Dove hand cream is pretty darn good though. It’s cheap. It’s simple. It’s plentiful. It replenishes your hands, at least for a while. It soothes over my weight lifting calluses. And most importantly, you can actually do stuff with your hands about 30 seconds after applying it. Not annoying like other hand creams where you can’t touch anything for a long time!

This product is such a bummer! It has a really nice consistency: light and non-greasy. It sinks in immediately and leaves my hands feeling soft and silky, but not slick or greasy. Unfortunately, this feeling lasts for a very short time. Less than an hour after applying it, my hands already feel dry again. You have to use it constantly to feel any relief. It’s fragrance free, which might be a plus for some, but this product could really use some fragrance because it smells pretty terrible. It needs something to cover up whatever ingredients it has that give it a musty wet cardboard smell.
I would definitely NOT recommend this product. It feels deceptively nice the first time you try it, but its effects are fleeting and it doesn’t have the ability to help truly dry skin.
