I walked into the shop looking for a handcream that was light in texture and not sticky and the shop assistant offered me this. First things first, this smells fantastic. It is also really light in texture, kind of has a water gel base sort of consistency. But other than that it didn’t do anything at all. It was not moisturizing at all. If you’re just looking for something perfumed to put on your hands I think this is it, but if you already looking for an actual hand cream, this is not going to cut it.

This is one of the newer releases from L’Occitane. This hand cream is more like a scented lotion that often comes along with fragrance purchases. It is very watery but on the back of the tube, it mentions it being of a gel texture. I just don’t think it is as delicately fragranced as it claims on the back but I reckon it’d be great for layering with the eau de toilette. Unfortunately this hand cream is not very moisturising but luckily for me, I have normal hands.
I would probably give this product a higher rating if it weren’t for the fact that there is gold shimmer in this hand cream. Who thought it was a good idea to put shimmer in hand cream?! I thought it was just a normal hand cream until I looked at my palms after applying it and BAM! My hands are all glittery. Thank god it’s just 30mL.
Do not recommend unless you’re using it as a glitter lotion or to layer with the Cerisier Rouge EDT. Definitely not a moisturising hand cream here.
