This looks amazing in photos, it shows no wrinkles or pores. It seems to bother my eyes a little, but I think it’s only due to the sunscreen in it. Overall, better than any high end product I’ve tried. Nude beige is the prettiest color!

I put combination skin because it really is. At times it I extremely dry, but there are times I can get oily. And I definitely have sensitive and acne prone skin. I have used and tried everything. This foundation I’d have to say is in my top 3 now.

The shade Soft Ivory is a amazing match for me because it is very fair with pink undertone, you cannot see any difference on my neck and it doesn’t oxidize on me like some more popular products have. The finish is very smooth, airbrushed and flawless with a medium coverage. Not the most buildable formula because it is a little on the thicker side so it will become cakey if built too much. I would recommend only one layer.
It is very comfortable and lightweight on the skin, doesn’t feel like anything. It is hydrating, not that much but it isn’t drying. As long as you moisturize and prep the skin like you normally would before applying then you will be good to go. It definitely isn’t as luminous as I would like it is more of a subtle and natural glow. Blends beautifully and effortlessly, smooths and blurs pores and textures for a airbrushed look and doesn’t settle into fine lines. Wears beautifully throughout the day and lasts for at least 10hrs which is the max amount I’ve worn it for because I don’t really need to wear it for longer, will likely last for longer because it still looks like I just did my face after 10hrs.
Sadly the shade range really sucks with this foundation as there are only 11 shades and most are light-medium shades. The bottle is very pretty and looks similar to the Lumi Foundation but with a couple of differences. Looks amazing combined with Maybelline’s Dream Brightening Creamy Concealer. Highly recommend giving this a try

Picked up Soft Ivory which matched my NW20 skin perfectly. This foundation made me look so bad! My skin is good for being over 60 with just some fine lines on my forehead and down around my mouth area which no foundation that I ever have used made those lines look worse, but Loreal Visible Lift did just that. My skin is normal leaning toward the dryer side and when I finished applying this foundation my skin looked bone dry….. needless to say I returned it. I usually stick with foundations in the drugstore for around seven dollars but thought I’d give this one a whirl at $13. Mistake! I do not recommend this foundation for ladies with more mature skin.

I purchased this in the shade soft ivory. About me NW20, blonde hair, green eyes, and very cool undertones for reference. This shade matched seamlessly with my skin tone. I’m combo and this didn’t make me oily nor dry. This dries to a satin finish and looks really great on.
This also lasted for hours on my skin without separating or enhancing fine lines. It just smooths over my redness to give me an even finish. It doesn’t break me out and it looks great on. This is a great medium coverage foundation. I like to set it with powder and it feels great.
The skin benefits I take with a grain of salt. It’s great but I’m not banking on it. Other than that it’s a stellar foundation. I will repurchase as its great for my combo skin and the shade soft ivory matches perfectly. Recommended.

I recently purchased this in the shade Classic Ivory. I swear it’s orange. It’s also very heavy and doesn’t blend well and goes on patchy. I used it several years ago and loved it. Maybe it’s my skin, but I think it’s the formula. Very disappointed. I actually got a comment from my son – “What have you got on your face?” I think this makeup makes me look older!

…35 years later and I go back to drugstore, reasonably priced L’Oreal. I changed up my entire skin care routine over the past few weeks, with my cleansers & peels being the only higher end purchases (ole henriksen). This foundation applied with Nivea soft cream and l’Oreal perfecting base has given me the best coverage, a flawless lasting wear that I haven’t had in a very long time. I have been desperate over the past little while, because up here in Canada, my skin literally dies in the winter. Super cold weather, 12 hours of commuting and work, followed by drinks and a hot tub session at my best friend’s tonight…resulted in, other than a couple powder touch ups around my nose throughout the day, perfect coverage wearing this combo of products. And this foundation gives medium to full coverage with zero weight! #impressed

I’ve been using this for years and like it a lot, except for the packaging and it’s a bit thick. But it gives me great medium coverage, and most importantly people have said I have “great skin” when wearing it, not “great foundation”, LOL. One woman said it looks natural, that she couldn’t tell I had on foundation. A little goes a long way for me, so a bottle lasts quite awhile.
Like another member says, the pump bottle is awful. I like that it’s clear so you can see what’s left, but about a third of the product clumps at the bottom. Given its price, it’s a waste of the product. Shaking it won’t help. (The label used to actually say “shake well”) Yesterday, I had to use pliers to get the pump piece/top off, then I tried every tiny tool I have to stir and scrape out the rest of the product. But the opening to the bottle is too small to get it all out. Pissed me off! I thought I just got a “bad” bottle, but this has happened before….. Some of the stuff ends up stuck at the TOP of the bottle as well, thick like paste…
The consistency is such that it could be a tube, which would be easier to squeeze out or cut open! I’ve done this with other products, as I want every last drop of something as I paid for it!
Still, I’m loyal to it because of the coverage, easy to blend texture, and good SPF (though I wear a hat or carry an umbrella for added sun protection). I use Buff Beige, #149, which is a perfect shade for me.

I have had issues with not being able to get all of the product out of the container, like others have experienced with this product. Please let me know if you have had that experience with this product or other products as I am investigating the issue. Thanks! [email protected]

Made me break out so it’s getting returned.
I found at least on its own, my face was still an oil slick by the end of the day. But it’s not supposed to be magic anyway.
It was my first liquid foundation so I don’t have a comparison in terms of anything else–only that it’s not worth the zits it calls forth!
