I’ve been using variations of this foundation for 6 years and it has earned its place as my ALL-TIME FAVORITE product! I have discoloration from hyperpigmentation, occasional acne, and a red birth mark, and it covers them up and evens out my skin tone perfectly every time.
Application is, in my experience, much smoother and easier than most liquid foundations out there. It gives you enough time to blend well, but doesn’t take too long to set, either.
The makeup lasts all day as promised, and doesn’t “cake” over time. There have even been a few times where I accidentally slept in it after coming home and crashing, and it was still doing its job in the morning! It doesn’t easily transfer, either.
The coverage itself is great for its price, which has always been reasonable. I’ll happily pay $10 for this every few months, as long as its on shelves.
I have to say, though, I’ve had better experiences with the original formula before it was changed, it had better coverage and wear. The current product is still good enough for me to keep wearing, especially with the neat pump, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants good coverage for drug-store price!

ADORE. I actually tried the ELDW before this one but that one was horrendous and left me with acne so bad it took weeks to go away. This, however, just looks beautiful. I tried it in the shade buff because it has a yellow undertone but it was unfortunately too dark – im NW15. Ivory is pale enough but pink-toned; I think I can make it work though. I use the combination oily formula and it kept me matte and flawless all day. I’m going to try adding a drop of arguably oil into it tomorrow to glow things up a bit cause if you use too much it can suck the life out of you 😉 I honestly wouldn’t even bother with the dry formula, it seems to get bad reviews across the board. Love the pump!

FINALLY! After years and years the people at Revlon have listened! I picked this up in my summer shade, Caramel in the Oily/Combination formula. It’s the same great foundation with the same wonderful medium/full coverage that dries down to a matte finish.
Even with my moderately oily skin, I have no need to use powder to set this foundation if I dont wish to and I have no need to wear concealer if I place a second coat just under my eyes. I find that this formula, while still thick and creamy, is far easier to spread on the skin giving you much more time to work with it. I have my winter shade Toast in the old packaging and it dries a lot faster than this one.
I’ve tried so many brands over the years since I purchased my very first bottle of Revlon years ago. The Colorstay formula is still one of my absolute favourites. When everything else fails, this never does and the price is perfect…I picked up my bottle for about $13. Happy, happy customer here!
