Not a bad little foundation. Wasn’t my favorite though. Claims to be oil free but ironically most foundations I’ve tried that are “oil free” are actually the most oily on me. They’re certainly not matte and oil free usually ends up in a dewy finish. The one thing I appreciated about this foundation though was the fact that it wasn’t cakey on my skin. Many foundations cake up on me so I applaud a foundation when it actually glides over my skin texture rather than emphasizing flaky/dry areas.
The shade range is also quite poor. Toast was the only non-pinky shade that fit closest to my yellowy skin and even then it was still a bit pink. It was wearable and easy to tone down with translucent powder though. At least it didn’t go orange on me and didn’t oxidize to a brand new shade. It stayed the same color as when I first applied.
Not the best foundation for my skin type but it was worth trying out although I won’t repurchase.

3.5 Rating: I’m getting irritated paying thru the nose for mediocre foundations in Toronto. Even Walmart and SDM “on sale” prices will cost over $10.00 and into the mid teens. So finding this $5.65 30ml foundation at my local Canadian Dollar was a steel! It provides a nice medium coverage. If I go over the areas that need help (like my hyper-pigmentation scars), they can be actually covered, which is rare for me. I’m an NC 40-45, of East Indian descent and my pimples eventually leave a dark mark each and every time. So for anything to be able to cover those, has got to be good. It’s best applied w/ a sponge type application. It covers more than any other drug-store foundation I own and lasts for 7rl hours. 2 layers is enough tho, otherwise it will feel and look cakey. I’d say go over once in your regular routine, and then just apply dots over your problem areas after. Also, I do not think their shade range is all that great. It’s not pale or deep dark friendly (at least the selection at my particular store). If you’re looking for a nice avg product you don’t feel like paying over the roof for, this is a good one.

I am new to Jordana Cosmetics and just received my first order. So far I am impressed with their offerings, but really like the foundation! I ordered in Warm Beige and wore it the other day. I was impressed with the lasting power, it was a humid day and while I wasn’t outside constantly the foundation wasn’t sliding off my face. I have been on the search for years for the perfect foundation, this one comes pretty close. I have tried many and the best for me were Maybelline Super Stay and Loreal True Match, but they weren’t perfect either. This might be my go to going forward. The price is great and I like the fact that Jordana is cruelty free! 5 stars!

For the price it isn’t the worst foundation ever. It actually blends pretty well, and it gave a medium coverage, so it isn’t bad. But, and for me it is a big but, once it is settled in the skin, it feels super dry and I feel my face looked dry, I am talking Sahara dry. I Know it is an oil-free foundation, but I felt it sucked & dried any oil in my face.
Maybe this would work on someone with super oily skin, but I have from normal to combination and it made my face look super dry.

We have here just a basic low cost oil free liquid foundation. It costs 1.99 and it kind of shows it. However, this list of pros and cons could be written for more expensive foundations that I have tried (you know who I am talking about Bare Minerals Serum Foundation)
Pros:
Dewy- which I think looks pretty if you have normal skin
Nice coverage- this can definitely be built up to full ( one coat covered up my freckles)
Clean- what I mean by this is that it isn’t pasty or clumpy or too thick just easy, clean
Colors- if you are fair you WILL find a color for you. I ordered medium beige and it rendered me ghost white.
Cons:
Colors-medium beige should be a mid tone beige not porcelain white
Setting-must be set and touched up with powder relatively often (without it it melts off onto hands or phone)
Overall: this foundation has two specific uses 1) running out for a couple of hours and you want to save your good stuff 2) a PERFECT foundation for a teen who is just getting into makeup and doesn’t mind touching up here and there throughout the day. I will use it because as I have gotten older I have a no going out without something on your face policy. But I would not wear it to an event or a day I need all day strength foundation.

I got a terrible result using this foundation. I’m not a teen but I still have very oily skin. I found this is a box of some of my foundations that I have not used in many a moon. I thought “what the heck, I’ll wear this to work”. First of all, I have the number “02” which is straight up bright ORANGE on my cool toned SW20 skin.
The next negative thing about is is how patchy it looked when I checked my face at 9:00 in the morning. I thought this was for oily skin? My oil was breaking through 3 hours after I applied it! Yuck…I had to go over my entire face with a powdered foundation I keep in my desk drawer at work.
I love the bottle , I love the pump and I love the low price, but this looks horrific on me. I am chucking this in the trash when I get home tonight.

Color match from this foundation was perfect no complaints there. However the finishing and lasting power sucked. I love a matte finish on a foundation but this just looked chalky. returned!

I’m loving this foundation, and I’ve tried a few. The price isn’t too bad. $24. It’s a little difficult to get it out of the bottle though. You might want to try the egg-shaped application sponge, but I haven’t tried it yet. It’s oil-free and doesn’t make me shiny. I have combo skin..

This foundation is blowing my mind. I had to remake an account just to talk about it. It is the most skin like foundation I’ve ever tried. It is virtually undetectable once it’s on. It doesn’t settle into lines or make me look dry. It just looks like my skin but nicer! I agree it’s like face and body but not as greasy and better coverage. Face and body just slides around on my face and rubs right off even with powder. This stays on like foundation and I don’t need to powered bc it doesn’t crease. I try to avoid powder when possible bc I just makes my already dry skin look worse. I purchased it from kohls on sale for 30$. I’m shade f10 and I’m a mac nc20. It’s a tad light for me but not noticeable once it’s on. F20 looked way too pink for me. If you come across this I would definitely pick it up. I have tried COUNTLESS foundations trying to find a holy grail and this one is a top contender FOR SURE!

The most perfect foundation I have ever used. Nothing to say really. All the positive reviews here have covered everything. Just perfect. If you like the invisible look of things like MAC F&B but want better coverage and finish (i think F&B looks too greasy without powder or mixed into something else), get this. f&b is also bad for my sensitive skin–this isn’t. F40 is the best match for me ever. This deserves to be better known. I only bought it after seeing the reviews here. It’s available at Rexall btw (canadians).

love the packing makes for easy traveling. I wear the shade 50 something? Great for travel warm lovely golden shade wears well not full coverage though

I’m surprised by all the positive reviews of this, but I am glad that so many women have had good luck with this foundation. This is one of the only foundations I’ve ever returned to the store because it was truly horrible on my skin.
It never settled properly, nor did it ever dry. For some reason, it stayed tacky and felt icky on my face. Maybe I drew the short straw and received a defective product, or maybe it’s just not meant for dry skin.
Either way it just didn’t work with my skin. I did give it 2 stars just because it was an absolutely PERFECT match for my nc35 skin tone. Those of us who have yellow undertones know exactly what I’m talking about when I say that looking for a perfect foundation match that’s yellow enough is like looking for the pot o’ gold at the end of a rainbow.
goofySalami5
Very blendable and a lot of color choices. Formulations are oil-free and work well with all skin types, especially combination skin. Use the same corresponding pressing powder with this product.
vengefulSnail2
Like others have said, I found this very sheer. The product was quite runny and didn’t cover much. Was expecting more from this product. Maybe I got a bad batch? I love that it’s all natural but it didn’t work for me.
joyfulDoves9
This stuff was more like a tinted moisturizer… It didn’t cover anything and basically just added color to my face. I guess it’s good for a light makeup day, but definitely not worth the price. It did feel really nice and smooth though…
exactingLizard1
Like a previous reviewer said, the consistency of this foundation really varies from tube to tube. I bought my first tube in shade L-6 and it was really runny and the shade was a little too dark for me (it oxidizes throughout the day). I’m between a MAC NC20-25.
I recently bought shade L-3 and it was thicker in consistency and covered my acne beautifully. However, the colour was too pink on me so I tried blending L-3 and L-6 to get a decent match. I like that this foundation doesn’t break me out or make my sensitive skin itch. It also feels really light on my skin.
I find I get the best coverage when I use a flat-headed foundation brush to dab the foundation on before swirling in circles to even out the makeup. I initially used a paintbrush style foundation brush and got streaks.
Overall, a great foundation but big minus for lack of shades available. I eventually returned L-3.
fondLizard3
I have been using this for about two months now and am hooked! I use L6 which is great match for my nc 15-20 skin….I have found that it oxidizes a little but its a good thing as it gives me a healthy glow that nothing else has ever given me! It looks a little peachy when you put it on so it does have yellow undertones….but it somehow gives off this inner glow…it covers great and looks totally natural and never ever cakey! It seems to last a long time as I work outside lots and when I wash my face at night after being in hot weater, it’s still there! I dont find this foundation runny as some say but I shake the tube before I use it even though it doesnt really say to do that…i figure it’s good to mix it up a bit. If you want a natural medium coverage foundation that lasts, doesnt make you break out and looks like your skin..this is it! I am so happy with this, I am thowing away all my expensive junk i’ve been hoarding in my drawers..I’m THAT convinced that THIS IS MY FOUNDATION! I am switching all to ZU ZU products and use the concealer which I love, pressed powder and the best thing is the new Mosaic powder! It has the multi colored powder similar to Physicians Formula but it goes on so smooth and never ever cakey either! It gives a glow! I highly suggest you all try this! I got it at Natural Grocers and they have a good return policy they say and everything available to test!

This is hands down the BEST foundation I have ever used. I have tried everything from drugstore to high-end department store foundations. Though recently, I have decided to try “greener” options.
I have sensitive, acne prone skin and my biggest problem is finding a foundation that stays put throughout the day, doesn’t get oily and doesn’t break me out. I am very sensitive to silicones, so using a primer often breaks me out. Using an oil-free primer just doesn’t seem to do the job.
With this foundation, I use the L-14 and L-16 shades mixed as the L-14 is a tad too light and the L-16 is a little too dark – and the results are WONDERFUL. I have flawless coverage and my makeup stays put all day long, even on hot summer days. I can wear this foundation for 10-12 hours and it looks as though I just put it on – no shine, just matte, flawless coverage. If you have oily or combo sensitive, acne prone skin, this will work wonderfully. It may be a tad too drying if you have dry or mature skin – but I’m sure mixing in a little moisturizer will do the trick. When my skin is feeling a little dehydrated, I simply spray some Hyaluoronic Mist from Derma E and put this foundation on and go!
guiltyBittern8
This product is not consistent between batches. I loved the first tube that I bought in 2011 in L3. The second tube, same shade, was very chalky, as though it contained too much sunscreen. I returned that one. The third tube was okay, but was not as moisturizing as the original tube. I used it up, but had to mix it with a little moisturizer. The fourth, purchased a few weeks ago at Whole Foods, had the same great texture as the original tube, but it was way too dark on me and orange. Grrrr. I returned that one to Whole Foods, and am looking for a new brand. It’s too bad, because a little more attention to quality control would make this a great product for mature, dry skin.
resolvedWildfowl7
I usually buy the Gabriel moisturizing foundation but since the Zuzu luxe is advertised as a heavier foundation I thought I’d try it. I’m not sure why they market it as a medium to full foundation, it is so sheer! It doesn’t blend in well either. It is a little more expensive than the Gabriel foundation and not definitely not worth it.
gloomyCamel4
I must say this is my first liquid foundation I usually just wear loose powder or pressed powder to work or when I’m running errands. I’ve always seen this product around I bought the forever flawless powder from their line in honey amber (which I love) it keeps me matte and I keep it in my bag for touch ups. After reading some reviews on this I Went to the drugstore yesterday to pick this up in the color mahogany, Because its now getting really hot in jamaica and I wanted something that was gonna give me light coverage but not clog my pores. I must say this is horrible the color has neither red or yellow undertones I’m sad to say it looked like mud on my face and I took pics with both my camera and phone and I looked like a grey grease ball!!! As we speak I’m getting ready to exchange this product for their powder in honey amber. I will stick to their powder, blushes and lipsticks. I will continue to use my Black opal stick foundation in nutmeg which makes me look flawless but I don’t wear it on a daily basis because its full coverage. I will never buy another liquid foundation especially this!!
holisticPear3
This is a pretty decent foundation. The coverage is medium, and it doesn’t feel heavy and never looks cakey. The only downside is that you have to blend VERY well and put a powder on top or it will look orange. This was dirt cheap at my local k-mart. I think this would be a good foundation for a beginner or let’s say you went on vacation and forgot your foundation and needed something quick and cheap. I used this for a while, but as it’s getting to be summer I’m going to get a better coverage bb cream and powder foundation. This does slide after a few hours and when it’s really warm.
artisticIcecream7
I’ve tried NUMEROUS inexpensive foundations and thought they were all just OKAY, until now! I really prefer this foundation, from Jordana, over any other drugstore foundation. It covers well, even though it’s a light coverage; it covers evenly and smoothly, controlling my very oily skin quite well! It’s also quite long lasting as well! For only $1.99, this has proven to work so much better than all the others! Seriously, so cheap as this was, I really was expecting an epic fail! I’m light, and purchased the shade “beige”. It is a tad too dark, but I find it looks like I have a slight sunkissed glow with this shade. Guess I should’ve ordered “natural” or “buff”, but I do like the sunkissed glow look, so it isn’t a BIG deal! I can pull it off! So, I think this shade would be great for light-medium skin. LOVIN’ it so far! Anyway, to see a couple of pics, you’ll have to go to my profile and view my pics, as I ran into problems trying to upload a pic! I have a pic of the bottle and a small swatch of the color. Also, I smear some foundation around/in the cap and use it as a concealer. Works GREAT!
wakefulGarlic6
This foundation is good and one of my “backups”. It will sort of irritate my skin if I wear it for a week but the color is great and it’s been a backup foundation I keep on hand just in case I run out of other liquids or need something with a bit more coverage than what I usually wear. Very neutral toned which is rare for a foundation line which doesn’t proport to have warm/cool/neutral options.
Probably won’t irritate most people’s skin but I have super duper sensitive skin. It actually says a lot if it takes a good week for mine to freak out since that means it’s pretty good.
peskyOtter1
This is the only foundation I have ever repurchased. It’s natural, gives build able coverage, affordable, and stays on.
spiritedEggs9
Light to medium coverage. After I apply it on, it dries to leave a powdery finish on my combination skin type.
Scent is none.
Price is affordable but not worth it especially because it doesn’t last.
Duration of foundation is 3-4 hours.
Bottle type is different but I appreciate the ability to pour out as much or little as I want. The plastic/foil type of bottle does start to fade and look worn after a short period.
I do not recommend for those looking for a medium to full coverage foundation.
gutturalCardinal4
This is hands-down the BEST foundation I have ever used. I have very oily, acne-prone skin, and after I set this with powder, it lasted all day without getting shiny or turning into a swirly mess like every single foundation I’ve ever used before. It really is amazing!
I have the shade L-11, which is quite light and has a neutral tone to it, which is great because my face is sort of in this weird in-between state of being cooler on the cheeks and warmer on the nose and forehead.
Anyway, the color matched perfectly, and when it dried, it set down to a silky, natural-looking finish.
It has SPF, so I set it with a powder to tone down any potential white-cast if I’m having photos done, and it looks so gorgeous in the photos that I was practically fawning over how wonderful my skin looked on camera.
I’ve tried so many foundations in the past, both drugstore and high-end, and none have even come close to this. I can’t rave enough.
The packaging is great too. I love the squeeze tube – it’s more hygienic. The price is high-ish, but only about $30, and I’ve seen lesser-quality foundations go for much more than that, so for price, I gave it a 3.
I will buy this again when I run out. I’m tempted to go buy another tube now to have on hand, in case they discontinue this.
superiorRaisins1
I’ve tried it and I really like ZuZu oil-free foundation because it meets my specific needs. I’ll be the first to admit that if you are looking for full coverage, keep looking; this provides lighter coverage. Personally, I had a need for a lighter formulated foundation suitable for on-the-go makeup retouches during the day, and also suitable for wear during the warmer months. I already use Origins stay-tuned balancing foundation and I love it, however, during the warmer months, it’s a little thicker than I prefer to wear. (I live in Georgia, it’s too hot & humid during the summer months to have on a face full of foundation so I was motivated to find a solution to this problem!) I’m allergic to parabens in face makeups so I browsed Whole Foods cosmetics section recently looking for something to meet my needs. I was immediately attracted to the ZuZu display because it had a few foundation shades suitable for women of color (big plus!!). Next, I was intrigued with the ingredients (this foundation contains aloe vera juice and calendula – which are 2 ingredients known for their soothing qualities plus Vitamin C & E and it’s SPF 18! Lastly, the tube is perfect for purse carry. I bought the shade L-21. It matches beautifully my complexion beautifullly — not too orange and not too beige – perfect! I’m very happy with this product. I’ve been working on my skin, trying to practice better skin care habits and using a prescription retinol to prevent acne. As my skin is improving, I need less makeup so I can even see using this during the fall/winter months. So far, it has not broken me out, and I pray it does not. However, if for some reason it starts to do so, I will definitely update this review.

I don’t wear makeup. This is my first time buying any foundation. I spent a lot of time in Whole Foods trying different brands and shades. This was perfect. The coverage is natural and undetectable. I am forty but I certainly don’t look it in this makeup. I love it. A bit pricey though.
