This is probably my best shade match EVER. When I look in the mirror there is no line from face to neck and I can tell you- I don’t blend down my neck for any reason because I don’t have time for my shirts to get gross. Sorry not sorry.
I love to use this over the Inkey List Vitamin C with silicone. Fantastic primer for it, although, if you are on the drier side I suggest a more hydrating primer or just a good moisturizer. A word of caution: I used this over Glossiers Future dew and it separated over my mouth pretty fiercely.
The coverage on this is great. It’s fuller coverage than my Hourglass Stick Foundation. I don’t need to use another concealer because this covers nicely. I just recommend using a buffing brush rather than a sponge to put it on because it seems to just buff out very nicely.
I never get cake face with this. It doesn’t settle around my nose or mouth, nor does it cling to the dry skin on my acne. I bring a buffing brush in my purse just in case for touch ups and have not had to use it on this foundation just yet. Not bad.
The foundation lasts a good 6 hours on me before seeming to rub off on the acne portions of my face. This happens with almost al my foundations though so not a big change from Hourglass or RMS or Chanel. It also doesn’t oxidize which is perfect since this shade cannot be beat.

I’m NC40 which is a really hard match but this foundation is my perfect match in Golden Neutral. I wish it were not so expensive though. It covers well, but the bottle holds a lot of foundation that I cant get out of it because of the way the bottle is shaped and the way the applicator is shaped. So now I have to try and pull out the plastic piece inside of the glass to see how much product is left. That is not fun for me. Still it is my perfect match. Finally EL got my shade right. Golden beige, true golden beige!

I tried the Even Better foundation because of a great color match, but I didn’t like the staying power. I was excited to see this foundation in the same color name (Breeze) but the color isn’t the same as the EB foundation. It leans a lot more yellow. It lasts longer than EB, which is what I wanted, but it goes on very thick. You definitely feel like you’re wearing foundation. The wand like applicator didn’t bother me at first, but after a few weeks I noticed that the foundation was causing me to breakout horribly. I imagine the delayed breakout is due to the bacteria that’s on the wand from when I swiped it on my face all the times prior. I stopped using this foundation altogether now.

The shade was too dark for me (cashew). I didn’t care for the wand applicator and it went on really thick…its a pass from me

This foundation is amazing! I come back to it time and time again cause i forget how good it is. It’s so easy to blend. I don’t like the doe foot applicator but honestly, it’s basically the same concept as a concealer so it doesn’t matter too much to me
Skin type: i have dry skin and flakes. This doesn’t cling to it or emphasize the dryness
Finish: Natural- i prefer a natural finish. It’s definitely not matte
Coverage: It’s a medium coverage that can easily build up to full. Three swipes per cheek will get you a full coverage so be careful not to put on too much.
Shade range: The shades cater more to pink undertones but a couple are yellow/ golden. I’m a shade 8 and it fits me perfectly (ELDW: 3W1, Giorgio Armani LS: 6, MUFE: 375, Nars: Stromboli)
Long lasting: I would say it lasts anywhere from 4-6 hours. It can transfer but setting it usually takes care of the problem. It doesn’t break up on me but sweat and time can make it wear off.
I definitely recommend this foundation

I feel this is quite a mis marketed product and therefore misunderstood!
I have normal to combo skin with a tendency towards dehydration. I wear SPF 50+ every day rain hail or shine so I need a foundation that will play well with my fave SPF and moisturiser, and even though I can get shiny, I prefer a creamy, dewy finish.
Luckily, this does plays well with my daily favourites BUT not much else that I have tried unfortunately (eg wearing primer makes it blotchy, powder brings out all the texture) . I also find this is very finnicky with the tools used with it, I personally have found IT cosmetics airbrush foundation brush is ok but not the best and any flat top dense brushes thin the product out too much and can start to lift product when its drying. Fingers has been my preferred application method with this foundation and that is rarely the case!
If you are looking for a classic foundation that will last 10 or so hours that will give decent coverage applied fingers that can be built up in areas then give this a go! If you are looking for full glam coverage thats moisturising and will last through sweaty humidity, this is not it.

This is probably the worst foundation that I have ever tried. My skin type is dry so usually foundations last well on me and I tend to favour the luminous dewy moisturising formulas hence I thought this product would be a good match but NO! This somehow manage to emphasise my dry patches, make me look cakey and greasy and at the same time wore off in the most unflattering way on my nose and forehead just 2 hours in. The lasting power is truly terrible. I have watery eyes and if tears roll down your eyes for whatever reason like yawing or irritation the foundation will literally melt off and leave a trail of white streak across your face.
Dewy foundation does not equate to poor lasting power I have tried other dewy foundations with much much better lasting power than this one like TB Born this way, EL DW Nude Fresh, YSL Touché Eclat etc. Would not recommend this product

I tried so hard to make this foundation work, but it’s just a dud for me. I have combo skin with dry patches around my mouth and an oily t-zone. My current foundation choice is No.7 Lift & Luminate. However, my skin has recently transitioned from dry to more oily-leaning, so I was looking for something less dewy and that would last longer. Although the Clinique foundation is less hydrating than the No.7 one, it becomes oily much quicker. It also tends to cling to dry patches, emphasize pores, and look cakey. I’m young so I don’t really have wrinkles, but the foundation emphasized the fine lines I do have.
In addition, all of the shades lean orange/peach. I used the L.A Colors blue mixing medium to match the foundation (in shade “Meringue”) to my NC20-25 olive skin.
I tried this foundation over several days using many different methods of application: brush, hands, sponge; with primer, with sunscreen, with UD All Nighter, alone. I found that it looked best with a sponge over primer, but it still wasn’t great.
Overall, this just didn’t do it for me.

My skin is dry. Really really dry. I have dark undereyes and some pigmitation problems I like evening out. I’m not after the uber-madeup look, in my home/work environment it would look really out of place. I just want everything more even. To look like I wasn’t trying at all, I just woke up healthier.
I use this as a concealer, sort of. I put a bit on the areas I want to even out and then blend like a foundation and I get the desired affect. I cannot use this to completely hide discoloration since that much product looks very caky on me no matter how I try to blend it. I think I just need a color corrector underneath (I’m still on the hunt for one).
I mix this with an oil since I am so dry. Didn’t break me out. Wasn’t greasy at the end of the day (which I tend to get with a lot of foundations despite being dry).

I use this as an under eye concealer for dark circles. I’ve been using since it first came out and it’s the only thing that works for me! I use a small amount over moisturizer and set with light dusting of powder. It lasts forever since I’m using such a small amount so the price is very inexpensive. A must have!!
