This is one of my favorite liquid lippies because the colour is just so pretty. Yes, it’s matte and a liquid so I expect it to be drying. Honestly though if I prep my lips properly this stuff does not budge and doesn’t dry my lips. I use lipbalm all the time so that could be why I never get dryness after I wear this. The shade though is what made me love it. Yes, this is now popular but I was always looking for a colour like this. Finally a shade that goes with my very pale below NW20 and very cool skintone. I also have very light blonde hair and green eyes for reference. Kapow makes my eyes standout because the purpley grey combo with even some touches of chocolate brown just make it so beautiful. I also use a lip primer and I find then it stays on even longer.
For 6$ I was like heck yea because finally the shade I want and very cheap so if I don’t like it, it’s not a terrible loss. I put it in my bottom lip first let it dry then I do my upper lip if I do this it doesn’t pill or get yucky feeling like other liquid lipsticks have on me. I can wear this one for hours and it lasts. Some of colourpops other shades feel different but this one is good. It doesn’t transfer and is completely kiss proof for me. I only need one application to get full opacity. This is darker on me than the swatches online but it’s fine I love it. So glad I purchased this. I would recommend it. The shade is just so stunning!
