So, I should start by saying that this was not the first time I’ve bought this lipstick, but I need to remember that it should be my last.
I will say that I love the color. The natural blush is a nice nudish pink that is very complementary. I love that it comes with a full size gloss, as I buy the extra gloss from this lipstick separately all the time to go over my L’Oréal infallible longwear lipstick. (since that one only comes with the gloss on the other end of the applicator which is gone in less than half the time of the color.)
That is where the positive review ends. The color gets crumby and flaky on the inside of the lips almost immediately. Like, on my teeth as soon as it dries. So I’ll rub the crumbies off, but then I am left with a very obvious, visibly distinct line where the lipcolor ends, not cute. And, the color that is there doesn’t have NEARLY 24 hour staying power. I put this on this morning at 7am. I just re-applied at 3pm. This wouldn’t be a huge issue if it wore well while it was on. It doesn’t. The color wears off unevenly and weird, looking very unattractive. The only reason I did buy it, is that as much as I love the L’Oréal infallible, I need to buy two different colors to get the desired shade. This Natural Blush is a great color…but a poor lipstick.

I was hoping for more of a natural lip pink (at first) but this shade looked more light brown on me with the slightest touch of pink. However, later in artificial light it looked more of a natural blush color hence the name. In the tube it looks 30% blush & 70% tan, but on it’s about 50/50. It looks like makeup but a more natural & neutral look.

As others said, I would not have grouped this in the nude category because of the rosy hue. I have a color by Max Factor (sultry?) that is like this but more on the brown side so this clearly has more of a rosy hue.
In any case, this lasted me all through dinner, food and water, and it was restaurant food so they don’t skip on oils and butter 🙂
I didn’t feel like it was too drying- not more than a lot of other normal lipsticks and it as very comfortable on my lips. I think once during dinner I reapplied the topcoat and I was totally fine otherwise.

This has been my go to lip color for over a year now. My lips are somewhat asymmetrical and before the whole slew of long wearing lip products came out I was dependent on lip liner to even them out. With Outlast I don’t need to use a liner and I hardly ever have to touch up.
As for the color, Natural Blush is definitely a YLBB color although I would not have grouped it with nudes, as it’s got a lot of pink or rose in it. I would describe it as a rose brown. If I want a more neutral look I mix it with a lighter color like Buff. I will keep buying this color as long as they make it!

I love this lip stick!! I am not one for the “stay on long” lip stuff. I liked it so much I went out and bought 2 more colors. It stayed on ALL day and night, yes, the shine goes away if you don’t reapply the top coat, but it really doesn’t look bad. I am going to wear this for my wedding in a few weeks. I tried the Revlon version of this and didn’t like it at all – it was really sticky. Buy this – you won’t regret it!!!

Well, I just bought this, so I can’t comment too much on how well it lasts (will update later), but I am loving the color! It’s a very natural color, more pink/berry than nude, but still fairly neutral. I have a hard time wearing true nudes, since my lips have some pigment to them, so this is perfect! It also doesn’t feel dry on my lips at all. Easy application and a lovely color.
EDIT: Well, I applied it before work this morning and now at 10:30PM it is still there! It’s faded a bit – looking more like a lip stain than lipstick right now, but not in a bad way. It stayed on through 3 meals and coffee! My lips did get a little dry, but I just applied the topcoat and it helped a lot.
