I have the shade Anais. I got it for $9.99 at Marshalls. It’s a beautiful nude that goes on very soft and smooth. Because of gel texture, staying power is not long lasting but I don’t care. Couldn’t beat the price! If I find another, I’m grabbing it!

I have the shade “Role Play” 110 which is a brownish pink. The formula is creamy, buttery and semi opaque. It’s not long lasting and the packaging is quite heavy for a lipstick. It has a very subtle scent. Now I have 2 exact dupes to suggest in terms of shade, formula and finish: One is Maybelline 630 Beige Rose which has a more powerful cookie scent and the other is the Pixi in Natural Rose which even though is supposed to be a lip balm is absolutely a creamy pigmented lipstick just like Maybelline and Marc Jacobs.

I have the shade Hey, Stranger and find it to be very comfortable, it doesn’t dry out my lips, and doesn’t accentuate my lip lines. It doesn’t last very long, it doesn’t claim to but thought I’d mention it in case that matters to someone. I drink water all day and I’d say I have to reapply about every three hours. Hey, stranger isn’t as sheer as role play (the only other color I’ve tried), but I think that is so those of us with deeper skin tones have color options. For reference, the foundation shade I wear the most is Estee Lauder Double wear in 5w2 Rich Caramel. I give it a 3 for price because I think you can find something at a lower price point that does the same thing.

I bought “Eat Cake” along with “Infamous” from the Le Marc line and I love both. Eat Cake is not quite MLBB but it comes close. It is semiopaque rather than sheer and it doesn’t dry out my lips. It has a slightly shiny finish without looking too glossy and it lasts about 4 hours on my lips. It does not accentuate fine lines and the application is very smooth.

I’m not into high end lipsticks- I can spend more on base makeup or skincare but I remain a fan of affordable lip products. But I have a soft spot for Marc Jacobs makeup and loved/liked all products from this brand I used so decided to try out this one as well.
Now, I’m not into nude lips either but the shade I got, “Have We Met”, on my NC10-ish skin is the perfect medium pink for when I’m wearing bold eye makeup.
The lipstick is moisturizing, has a sheer coverage, buildable to medium. It’s not too glossy or sticky (which I like). As most sheer formulas, it wears off my lips pretty quickly (but evenly). Doesn’t settle into “lines” on my lips. Overall the formula is rather forgiving and comfortable.
I ordered it online without checking it out at store (it was on sale and I was sure that it will quickly sell out). On online photos, the packaging doesn’t look impressive. But when I got it I was surprised how heavy and luxe it feels in my hand.
I usually reach for “comfortable” liquid lipsticks (like NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams) because they are more precise and long lasting but it’s good to have product like this in my makeup bag. I consider purchasing another color, “Understudy”.
Edit Jan’18: I own 4 colors now, and love all of them. The formula is consistent, some shades are more pigmented than others. I fell in love especially with “Hey, Stranger”- it’s the most unique lip color I’ve ever used- brown-ish terracotta red, semi opaque and very long lasting!

I use these lipsticks daily!!!. I have these in multiple shades eat cake (rosy pinkish nude), understudy ( nude pinkish), role play ( rosy brownish), have we met ( pink with some glitter). the others I don’t have is cz when I tried them, they washed me out!
I actually have 3 of eat cake and 2 each of the other ones.
for reference range I am NC 30 to 35 in Mac, nars: punjab , MUFE Y345.
these have a gel like texture and consistency and go so smoothly on ur lips , it is a very natural look, nothing dramatic. so u can use it for work or with a smokey eye look.
why I love them that I have back up for all of them?
once u put them on they last me a good 3 to 4 hrs without eating, they r extremely comfortable to wear , with the gel like texture it makes u lips look supple and soft and trust me they feel that way even after ur lipstick is gone. the colour melts on ur lips to make it look MLBB. if u have line or creases on ur lips it will hide them n make them look plump.
eat cake is my absolute go to. I have one in my bag always. all my pictures with these on , look great as well.
cons:
yes the price is a little steep but u get what u pay for, I have tried many things from March jacobs and iv been blown away by many of them but these by far are my HG.
do give them a try 🙂

I love these types of lipsticks because I’m more of a gloss girl. The sheer nude line has a small selection of shades but I think all are beautiful and wearable. I ended up with Moody Margot. Moody Margot is a warm beige nude. The texture reminds me a lot like the Dior Addict lipsticks in which they have sort of a mild glossy feel to them. The color goes on sheer but can be built up a bit. It feels very comfortable on the lips. I love how this lipstick line comes with a magnetic cap closure too. I guess the only con would be that it wears off fast! I only get about one hour wear before I have to reapply so one lippie off for that.

The lip-color doesn’t last long

Whoever originally reviewed this jacked up the name and no one could find these reviews. >:\ I fixed it, hopefully more MUAers will be able to access the reviews now.
I own shade 102 Strange Magic. It’s is a light, warm pink. I am VERY pale and thought this was going to look like concealer on me. I actually find pale shades to be the most flattering on my coloring, however with my pigmented lips it always looks “off”. There’s usually parts where my lip color breaks through thick formulas. With the gel formula however, it seems to blend in somehow without darkening the lipstick color’s result. This shade perks up my face without adding too much color. It reminds me a lot of NYX Creme Brulee, but a tiny bit lighter. Maybe a smidge pinker. I also like that the formula does NOT dry out my chronic dry lips. I can’t get on board with the matte lip trend going on so i was pleased to find a balmy formula.
The only downside is the price. I know this should never be listed as a con because it’s something you’re well aware of before buying a high end lipstick. I just have such a hard time justifying it. And this is coming from someone that bought a $60 eye shadow palette to only use once among other pricey non-essential mu items…

I love these lipsticks, a bit pricey but worth it. I have them in Role Play which is a very natural brownish rose MLBB, and Haven’t We Met which is a lovely shade of pink with a nice sheen to it. These are gel based but have a lot of pigment to them and are much longer lasting than I expected. They are not at all glossy, which I prefer, being older so they don’t bleed into lip lines. if anything, they’re maybe a tad on the dry side, but not too much as to irritate my lips. I highly recommend this line of nudes as they aren’t “too” nude and the color selection is lovely..
