I received a sample of this with a Sephora Play box and tossed it aside for several months before trying. It is a retractable crayon that delivers creamy matte color. The color is a dusty mauve but appears as a orangey nude on me. I found it to be a very comfortable non-drying wear that is fairly long lasting, requiring very few touch ups through the day. No migrating, no feathering, no lip liner required. I liked it but will likely not repurchase because there are better priced options that will deliver the same result.

I used up my Sephora sample of this shade — something I NEVER do — and purchased a full size, so you can bet this is one of my favorite lipsticks. It’s a nice mauvey brown on me, perfect for fall and winter, and the formula is a surprisingly creamy and very pigmented matte. I like having the sharpener concealed in the bottom but will just use the crayon’s edge to line my lips more often than not. Taking a lippie off only because it’s not very long-lasting.

I received this in the October sample bag from Sephora and I really love this as an every day lip crayon. No lip liner is needed, the crayon is incredibly hydrating and the colors is very neutral. It’s a dark pink color that works really well with all your fall clothes.

This is a deep yet light pink…it has a bit of a brown undertone…I didn’t think I would like a stick applicator but it’s actually pretty nice. I would repurchase other colors

This is my go-to lip product when I’m in a hurry. No mirror is needed to reapply which makes it very “low-maintenance”. I have to reapply this product every few hours, especially after drinking. I find the formula to not be too drying- you just need to use a balm before using (as you should any other lip product!).
I will not be repurchasing this product since it is not in my price range and contains beeswax.

I have received a few Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons as Sephora points gifts and as part of a birthday gift. The color is gorgeous, but these are SO drying. Every time I wear them my lips are chapped for several days. I definitely would not buy one of these because they are so drying.

Like so many, I received this as part of the Sephora birthday gift. I was looking forward to it as the color looked like something that would work wonderfully with my NW10 skin, but it was not to be. My chemistry automatically turned the beautiful pale mauve shade into an orangey-brown that is not at all compatible with my skin tone. I’ve never had a lipstick look so different on my lips from in the tube (or pencil, in this case). This actually makes me suspicious of all Bite lipsticks to the extent that I wouldn’t buy them without first trying them in the store. I’ll give two lippies for a nice, comfortable feeling formula, though I suspect it could be a bit too slippery for some, leading to bleeding.

Got this as a Sephora BD gift.
HG! Ticks all the boxes – although it is a lipstick, it turns out to be the perfect liner I had been looking for!
A retractable lip crayon – hooray you never have to sharpen it.
Semi mat with a tiny bit of shimmer, just the thing to give a bit of oomph to your cupid’s bow on top and with my moderately pigmented lips, I can cheat just a bit to give a fuller lower lip.
MLBB shade, rosy brown but with the added benefit of a slight shimmer – still very work-appropriate.
Transfer is not a problem, because I am using it as a liner, not as a lippie.
I had been looking for this kind of liner for a long time, but never finding it.
I had given up until I got this beautiful Sephora BB present.
I believe I have the full size, it is a very modern, on-trend looking gunmetal grey with a color band at the end so if you have more than one, you can identify it right away (the print on the end is minuscule).

Quite pleased with this. I’m not a huge fan of mattes in general, but this is either creamy enough or not quite matte. The color is “dusty mauve” which is pretty much MLBB with my AAB/NC25 coloring. The texture is great – creamy and non-drying, very comfortable, long-wearing. I also like the packaging, a twist-up fat pencil which is easy to work with, with a band of color on the butt end which hints at the shade inside.
(Got this as part of the Sephora Birthday Gift 2018)

UPDATE 4/24/18: I finally was able to get this to stay on my lips. Revlon colorstay lipliner in nude applied over entire lips and then apply this lip crayon, it is beautiful and stayed on my lips for hours. Beautiful color, but I still won’t purchase this.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I received this as the Beauty Insider Sephora birthday gift. I love the packaging and the color, that is why I gave this 3 lippies.
This is supposed to be matte. It is not matte, even after it dries down it is not matte. Even after 30 minutes, it was slippery and not tacky. It prevents lips from being dried out, but it also lips right off the lips.
Thank you Sephora for free product, but I won’t purchase this.
