This formula dries out my lips more than their matte formula! No idea what the culprit is, but I always use lip balm under lipstick and this one just does not feel comfortable or flexible. Fantastic pigment, though, and really nice packaging for a pseudo-drugstore brand.

Reviewing “Scorpio Moon” and “What’s your sign” from the Zodiac/Kathleen Lights collab.
Scorpio Moon is described as plummy and looks online as if it has shimmer but on me it’s a light plummy nude (MLBB) and rather matte but a light shimmer or shine. Kind of like MAC Mehr or maybe Soar but way better than Soar, which I do not like. Good coverage and wear. Comfortable and no bad fragrance. The light metal case and embossed stick are high-end looking for a lower-end line.
Strangely, the Scorpio Moon, which I really like, stains my lips pink and I feel a bit of sensitivity to the dye. And that also could mean it would turn fuchsia on me as that is one way it happens (dye laying down.) Lovely color, sadly not for me.
I ran across a Youtuber doing a tutorial on the Zodiac collab and she had the same effect of staining. Colourpop is cheap (at this writing seven fifty a lipstick and there are usually coupons) but NO RETURNS. So choose wisely. I’d skip this despite the beauty of the Scorpio color. I had no issues with What’s My Sign.
What’s Your Sign is a “light neutral nude” and it reminds me of Charlotte Tillbury’s “Hepburn Honey.”
Good quality lipsticks esp for the price. My go to lipsticks are MAC (I like the feel of some of the formulae) and I wear a few Charlotte Tillbury (good coverage and wear and great pinks and nudes.) But I’d buy these instead. All the look, a third of the cost.

It’s tricky to buy a lip color from ColourPop online. I like to see the colors in person. Who doesn’t? So when they came out with a line of traditional lipstix, I wanted to buy but held off. Ulta started carrying some Lux Lipsticks in some brick-n-mortar stores. I chose Still Crazy, a fruit-punch rose cream, from the Ulta in Annapolis, MD. It goes on creamy and a little greasy. It wears down to a stain. The color is actually a little brighter on me than in the tube. The stain does last a few hours, making constant reapplication unneccesary.
I wish my preferred MLBB-type color had been available in person, but this is a pretty good alternative. This is a good everyday lipstick for spring and summer, owing to its bright, cheery azalea pink tone and lightweight application.
