This is a cool pink that also works alright with my warm undertones. It’s a little bright for the office but great for date night or being outdoors in sundress weather in the spring or summer. Like most lustre lipsticks from MAC, for a sheer formula it lasts very well and fades gracefully. I can sort of pull off some cooler toned shades because of my green eyes, even though it’s not exactly my ideal pink. If you are cooler-toned and want a candy pink that’s not too over the top, this lipstick is a very good choice.

I have very pale skin, and darker side of strawberry blonde hair (auburn hair w/ blonde highlights) and brown eyes. I have tried MAC Angel, Creme Cup, Fanfare, Cosmo, Faux and Flamingo, and many, many more (yep, I have issues). I have also tried Bite “Fig” among many other “pinks”. The brand list goes on. Unfortunately, make-up artists seem of no help “yeah, it looks great” to everything or “add it with a lip pencil or gloss to tone it down or brighten it up” – I want one product to apply and go…….so it was my very honest Mom’s opinion in the end. I will say NYX lip gloss and butters are amazing and have many beautiful colors: beige, vanilla cream pie, and maple blondie (perfection) but don’t stay on as long as I’d like. Giddy is the only pink that makes me look awake, alive and not like a clown. I absolutely love it. If they discontinue it, I may cry. It is a smidge pricey but I love it!!!!!!!!!

This is my sister’s lipstick but she doesn’t wear makeup often so I took it from her! It’s a light, natural colour which I love and it stays on for hours, even through fatty, oily meals (e.g. burgers and chips).
The only reason I wouldn’t repurchase is because it’s not matched to my undertone (my sister is cool toned while I’m warm toned). Other than that, it is absolutely beautiful!

This color is like others have described – pink lemonade with a coral undertone. This looks true to its color on my lips, so I love it. It’s great for every day use for me. The formula is very smooth and moisturizing, typical for MAC. Because it’s a lustre, it doesn’t last as long as a matte, but it wears better than most other brands I’ve tried. The coverage is buildable so you can make the color more opaque if you use many layers. I used about 2-3 and it’s still sheer compared to a matte MAC lipstick. There’s a pleasant smell to MAC’s lipsticks, sort of like vanilla cake. Only downside is it’s expensive because of the brand, but it’s worth it because of the quality.

Very nice pinky coral lipstick with browm undertone. I would love it, if there wouldn’t be that golden brownish undertone as it’s too close to my natural lip color this way.
It is mositurizing, bit glossy and does not last long.

Giddy is a great pink lemonade type of shade on my lips. Others have done a great job of describing the color…pinky peach with golden undertone or a pinky coral. My first thought when I saw it on my lips was, “pink lemonade” when I wore this with my BB Apricot blush. I wanted a summer/warmer version of the soft muted look I get with Creme Cup in the winter. This will look off when I go back to my cool pink toned blushes in winter. But I bought it for summer. It is also great to mute & warm up my cool toned mauvey lips. And the final bonus, this is not skewing too orange or brown on me which has been a problem with all the typical MAC summer lip suggestions. I am NW20, almost black hair, brown eyes, deep soft winter.

I am very excited. On my recent haul at mac I came across this and I was looking for a dupe for Pop Beauty’s liquid lipstick pink peony which while I love the color I did not like the smell or the fact this had become gloppy and bled into my lip lines. I tried this and while a luster and not quite as pigmented is a dead on shade for PP.
Pink with and undertone of coral it’s light and sheer but as true to all MAC’s formulas just awesome. I haven’t had any feathering and it will be the perfect at work look or a go to when I need a lighter shade for my lips. Will definitely be part of my collection!

One of my very first mac lipsticks, and i have loved them ever since. Lovely coral pink colour with slight gold undertone, i would buy again and i was sad to hear it was being and has been discontinued. The colour pay off is ok as its a lustre and therefore i marked the rating down, if this product had a cremesheen finish it would be perfect.

Giddy looks like a bright coral pink with gold shimmer in the tube. Quite an attractive colour. Unfortunately, as it’s a lustre, the colour doesn’t really show on my lips but blends right into my lips. It wasn’t moisturising either. Disappointing. Will give it a miss in the future.

This lipstick is fun in so many ways! First, I love the shape of M.A.C. lip tubes. The lipstick itself though is a great product. I love the color, its staying power, and even its faintly pleasant scent/taste. I bought this tube in the summer when I had a little color, and have to say it did look better on me then rather than now after a whole winter’s worth of being indoors. I can get away with it still though, as long as I dilute it with a layer of lip balm to tone down the intensity. It’s a fun, flirty pink – not too loud, but certainly not a wallflower hue.
