I’m impressed with this. The person at Sephora I talked to brought this as one of the recommended shades when I did a colour consult. I tend to splurge on one higher end lipstick per year and this year, Bite’s Zin won out! Great texture, beautiful colour. Good staying power on me. Would definitely buy again.

This is the most comfortable lipstick I’ve ever worn! Get a workhorse shade like Zin, and you won’t regret the splurge. I especially love that it’s very pigmented, but it doesn’t look thick or aging on my over-30 lips. 🙂

A friend gave me this lipstick and I love it. The formula is lovely. It’s more like a medium dusky rose on me, and the formula is heavenly. It feels so good since it’s moisturizing but not too slick, and has good staying power without creasing or bleeding beyond lip lines. It also has a really good flavor. There’s no weird fake smell and no weird perfumey flavor; just a nice sugary sweetness (probably the agave?). $24 is a bit steep for me normally, but this is definitely one I’d repurchase since it performs so well.

This is my second Bite Beauty lipstick and I’m falling in love. I have fig which is a beautiful pink (read my review on it!). I recently bought this after falling in love with the formula and the feel-good ingredients. The colour is a beautiful muted, warm, berry shade perfect that can be worn from fall through spring. It’s actually a very universal shade and I’m sure most people will like it. You get a very just-bitten-lips look if your on the tan side and a naturally sophisticated look if your tan, olive, etc. Packaging is super sturdy, expensive looking, and travel friendly. I wish it wasn’t so pricey I mean, it’s more that CAD $30.00 with HST, so thats why I took off a lippie. If your looking for a new shade of lipstick and have a more lenient budget, I definitely recommend Zin or Bite Beauty in general.

This is the latest addition to my growing collection of Bite Beauty, thanks to making VIB status at Sephora and getting a discount. The name describes it pretty well: it’s very creamy with a hint of shimmer and a lovely red wine shade. It’s one of those red shades that will suit everybody because it’s muted and soft. BB makes what is possibly the most moisturizing lipstick on the market. My only gripes are the price and the packaging: for this kind of money, they could do better than a plain rubbery tube.

Zin is my 3rd Bite Beauty lipstick. I can see these becoming a growing part of my collection and maybe even my favourite lipsticks. While these aren’t cheap, they’re nowhere near as pricey as those from Tom Ford or Guerlain but they are every bit as good, in my opinion.
Zin is a beautiful shade for fall – Bite calls it a “muted berry” but swatched next to Vigne (which, to me, looks more berry than “fuchsia”, which is how the site describes it) it looks more like a slightly browned red, so a great fall shade. Whatever the colour, this is just beautiful, wearable and “womanly”. Wearing it, I look like a real woman, not a kid, not a Tom-boy, not “the girl next door”. It’s not so deep that it’s vampy but it just looks feminine and womanly. It has a nice sheen and feels moist on the lips. All in all, just a terrific lipstick. I’ll be picking up another so I can have one in my purse and one in my makeup area.

The Bite Beauty lipstick formula is just something else, they have done something right that other beauty brand cannot compete with.
The color Zin that is being reviewed is a beautiful cool toned berry that pulls more pink, with micro shimmer particles that when applied to the lips just comes off as shine.
The formula is creamy and beautiful, it feels very hydrating and comfotable on the lips. Although it does feel hydrating I don’t belive it actually adds moisture to my lips. The pigmentation is amazing. The color itself is not super bold, but full opacacity is achieved in one swipe.
I now own three bite beauty lipsticks and I have not been dissapointed in pigmetation or formula yet.
The only complaint would be the price point $24 for a lipstick is definitely steep but I am willing to sped it on a great product, which this is.
