I’ve been hoarding these recently as Make up store is changing the packaging of their products and has a clearance sale. These go for as low as 5,50€ for one and I’ve already purchased five. What I don’t like about these lipsticks is the original price – I’ve only bought these with a gift card or from a sale. I have seven of these in total: two sheer, one creme and four matt shades.( I didn’t realise until now that the “matt” shades were labeled as matt because they clearly aren’t that and everyone can see it. )
I have Magic spell, Attitude, Chicco, First Kiss and the slim lipsticks in matt 407, matt 403 and sheer 106.
However, I like consistency of all these lipsticks. They also have a nice variety of colors. I have very dry and chapped lips but I don’t have that much problems wearing these even in the dead of winter. The sheer shades can feel a bit sticky at first when applying but they don’t leave a sticky feeling afterwards.
All of the shades have a little different texture but so far I’ve loved every single one!
The packaging feels nice and sturdy as it’s metallic instead of being completely plastic.
I think I should get more of these before the clearance sale is over.

I recently got my first MUS lipstick (in the shade Sparkling Cherry Pie) and I’m very happy with it. The shade is a beautiful red that isn’t very in-your-face. It’s super sparky with lots of glitter, but because the color is somewhat muted it’s still understated enough for every day wear. The lipstick itself feels very nice on the lips. It’s not dry at all and feels hydrating, while at the same time the formula isn’t too wet and doesn’t slide around on the lips. Coverage is very buildable.
I will make sure to try a few other shades next time I’m near a Make Up Store.

I love these lipsticks. They come in so many shades and finishes. My most recent purchase was Black Orchid, which is the perfect dark red-purple. I also love Crown and Pretty Baby. The lipsticks have a solid, durable packaging, they last a long time even while working/clubbing/dinner, they don’t bleed. I prefer them over MAC.

Favorite brand for lipstick, hands down. Come in fantastic shades of almost every color of the rainbow, have amazing staying power, and do not dry out my lips. I wish I had all the colors. Chicco is much prettier than the internet shows it to be, and probably my favorite. Yarn is another that I really like, but does not show well online (it looks bright orange, but it goes on a lovely metallic coral). Scarlet (which is not actually a bright red) and Watermelon are lovely begonia pinks that I like for summer. And if you are lusting the orange trend of summer 2014 do not miss out on Dare! You can wear them alone or with Make Up Store’s fantastic lip liners. I wish they had a US online website.

This brand has great colours and classic packaging. However I find I get less than one hour before the colour has faded – less if I am eating or drinking. I would expect far more from a product of this price.

I bought a lipstick from makeupstore, a few months ago and im really happy with it. I bought it in shade; ”Black orchid” And its a very flattering colour, i love how it stays on thoughout the whole day and doesnt smudge.
The packaging is very exclusive and it feels a bit heavy and thats what makes it feel expensive. The blakc colour of the package is also very nice, Simple and as i said before, eclusive. I highly recommend makeupstores lipstick to anyone that wants a long lasting lipstick and a feel of luxury.

Packaging:
Feels light in the hand, plastic and cheap. The lipstick itself SNAPPED after the first use! Very bad!
Product:
Good colour payoff but makes your lips look and feel very tacky and dry. It clings to your lips and doesn’t go away too soon, but it doesn’t look good when it’s going away – though it doesn’t look good when freshly applied either. Too soft and creamy yet drying, breaks in the tube so you have to use a lip brush if you want to use it.

I bought two shades that look almost the same to the wet n wild limited edition lipsticks that came out this fall. Bordeaux blvd is 5117 & urban night looks like 5033.

This review is specifically for the shade “African Violet.” I absolutely love bold lipsticks. I’d never seen a color like this before and it was only $2 (regular price at Rite Aid), so I snatched it up. I am so glad I did.
In the tube, it’s a bright medium purple that is decidedly cool-toned. On my lips, it wears more pink than I would have expected, but I think that’s a good thing. The color is really unique, but still flattering and not too out there. When I wear this, I let my lips be the star of the show, finishing the look with flawless skin and simple coat of mascara. I don’t have particularly full lips, but this color really draws attention to the shape of my mouth and makes my lips looks luscious.
The formula is creamy, easy to apply, and doesn’t dry out my lips. The lipstick is very pigmented. It does transfer easily, but the staying power is actually pretty good because it seems to stain my lips.
The only beef I have with this lipstick is the packaging, which is terrible. You have to be really careful removing the cap, but that’s the norm for cheap lipsticks. The real problem is that every time I twist the lipstick up, part of the product rubs off on the side of the tube. It’s messy and annoying. Not sure if this is a problem with all of them or if I just got a dud.
Still, I definitely recommend this. It’s also fantastic under any sort of bright pink to create a next-level fuschia you can see from a mile away. A must-have for lipstick lovers who like to keep it bold and fun, but always pretty.
EDIT: I recently tried the “Hibiscus” shade. The color is beautiful; I’m very pale and expected it to wear like a variation of hot pink on me, but it’s more of a bold coral. It’s very unique and looks expensive. Once again, pigmentation is excellent and the formula is creamy, moisturizing, and very forgiving if your lips are in less than perfect condition. HOWEVER, I lowered my overall rating by a star because the packaging is just SO terrible. I have the same problem with this lipstick that I had with my last one where the lipstick rubs off on the side of the tube. It is extremely messy and makes me not want to take this lipstick anywhere with me. The colors/formula in this line are really wonderful, but I’m reluctant to purchase again based solely on how crappy the packaging is since there’s nothing worse than getting lipstick everywhere.

I bought this lipstick at my local CVS and oh it’s wonderful. It goes on so creamy and lasts for hours. I recommend it for anybody. also it was only $1.99

These lipstick are pretty damn excellent for their price, usually less than $3 at most drugstores. Made for women of color, most of the colors look great with darker skintones which isn’t something I find too common in most drugstore brands. They have an awesome selection in their collection, from black and dark plums to creamy nudes. The lipsticks are pigmented and creamy which makes them a breeze to apply. My one complaint in the packaging is that when you tear off the seal, you lose the name of the lipstick; if they could put the name as well as the product number at the bottom of the lipstick holder I would have zero complaints. Regardless, I’d still go to the trouble of noting the number down if I ever needed to purchase one of the same shade because they are so great!

love love love this lipstick I may be a little ahead of my self since I just got it yesterday but I got 5117 which is a nice purple shade and 5027 which I have on right now its a burgundy shade which I wouldnt usually go for but Iove it all there colors pay off nicely the lipstick is not drying… I usually only get MAC but I will say this might actually have me trying drug store lipsticks out for 1.99 this cant be beat. 5024A is a perfect dupe for mac media

I love Black Radiance. Affordable, pigmented, beautiful. I have several colors (all are off the top of my head to forgive me if I’m incorrect): Brandywine, El Dorado Red, Tiger Lily, Hibiscus, Pale Pink, Pink Dahlia, and Burgundy Royale). Amazing colors. Packaging isn’t the best. I have to be super careful when replacing the cap otherwise product scrapes into the inner side of the cap. Definitely will purchase again.

I guess this lipstick is ok nut it is very slippery and when you try to put it on the product goes back down.Do not recommend .

I’ve tried the colors Centerfold, Bobbi, Maiden, and Birthday Suit. Bobbi and Maiden did not look good with my NC25 skintone. Centerfold washed me out. Birthday Suit was a nice warm brown shade for the fall. I appreciate the formula which doesn’t dry out my lips. However, I wouldn’t repurchase because it feels like it’s just sitting on my lips and makes my lips feel almost raw. The formula is thick so it doesn’t set on the lips, you feel it the entire time it’s on the lips. It also wears off quick when eating or drinking.

I have so many of these lippies. I am a huge fan of the glosses – Kisser Slickers, Amplify Lip Glazes, Butter Creams, Lip Conditioners… They are moisturizing, have just enough color, and I can pull off most colors without looking washed out (just stay away of anything pastel because of my olive undertones). I love the slim packaging, I always carry a few around in my purse, and can apply without a mirror – they are an essential part of my winter survival kit and have used up several of these. The lipsticks are drier, and do require a mirror to apply, I do enjoy them, but the glosses are so much easier to wear. They are pretty inexpensive, although shipping to Canada does add up.
Favorites I have repurchased: Summer Fling, Birthday Suit
Should repurchase because the shade is so flattering: Georgia
Really enjoying right now: Juicy

I have more SN lippies at this point than any other brand, and for good reason!! Quality is comparable to high end brands, but prices top out around $5.75. I really enjoy the slimline format for being both compact and easy to apply on my annoyingly sharp upper lip. I have several of the formulas – – lipstick, velvet matte lipstick, kisser slicker, amplifying lip glaze, hypergloss, and slick stick. Opacity varies a lot between shades in certain formulas (mainly kisser slickers), so I highly recommend checking the description of each color where they rate the opacity and several other factors.
Wear time is good, even on the sheerer shades, and SN is one of the few brands that doesn’t leave my lips parched and peeling or settle in lines. The velvet matte formula, for example, is the only matte lipstick that doesn’t age my lips about 30 years or leave them screaming for lip balm. They also fade very evenly and don’t leave a “ring” like many other brands. The shade range is incredible and they are particularly good at creating lovely muted and berry shades. My skin tone is neutral leaning warm and very fair (Nars RCC in Chantilly is my concealer) and my favorite shades are Berry Nice KS, Garter VM (my perfect MLBB), Rapturous LS, and Bitten KS.
Definitely worth trying for the cost, quality, and fact that they truly have something for everyone between the numerous formulas and shades. Shipping is very fast and she always includes a GWP in addition to an eyeshadow of your choice if you spend $35 (including shipping!).

This is a review for all the kisser slickers I’ve tried. While I like that they are supposed to be moisturizing, they don’t provide long-lasting moisturizing effects like my RMS Lip Shines and my regular lip balms. In fact, when they’re gone, my lips look very dull, unlike when my RMS Lip Shines wear off (they leave a beautiful stain). For the price, I will continue to purchase the two that work well with my yellow-based skintone. Also, the company really cares, and it’s nice to support a company that cares about their customers as much as the environment (which is unlike RMS).
Razzle Dazzle – orange shimmer nude pink/red, not for me
Bitten – perfect red, looks amazing on cool and warm tones
Atomic – perfect berry for fall, really warms the face
Overall, I wear these once a week at most because of the drawbacks – dull lips left behind. They do feel nice on the lips and look wonderful while they last (1-2 hours), but for some reason they don’t work for me as they should on paper.

I love SN lippies/kisser slicks. They are wonderful. I lost my favourite gloss the other day – it fell out of my pocket 🙁
I’m about to lace an order for 20 glosses.
Addicted?? Me??
Love, love them all.

I have over 20 of Silk Naturals’ lip products. This review will cover their lipstick, kisser slicker, vegan lip gloss, liquid gloss and butter creams, Black Label Lip Glosses, which is about what they have up currently.
The price ranges from just US$4.50 – < US$6. EACH. Made with mostly wholesome organic goodness and plenty of moisturising oils. The colour payoff is fantastic, even for their lipglosses. Some are almost lipstick-coverage. They come in slimtubes like Burts' Bees, which may make for easier application for many ladies. I can apply them without looking into a mirror. The staying power differs from lip colour to lip colour (e.g. the more pigmented ones naturally last longer) but are generally decent. The best part other than the price & ingredients? These are WONDERFUL to moisten your lips and keep them luscious and dewy. I've had so many compliments from people on the lip colours and the state of my lips. There are dupes of famous brands like MAC and Clinique too. Worth a check. The liquid lip glosses are not sticky and worth a try. There is no real fragrance per se but the lippies are slightly sweetened with Stevia. The only downside to the lippies are climate-related. I'm located in Singapore - hot and humid 365 days a year. So some do tend to be slightly mushy (e.g. the not so pigmented ones).

These are fantastic! These are my new favorite lippies. The are super moisturizing and have good staying power. I love the fact they are made with organic oils as well! I have 3 Kisser Slickers and 2 Butter Cream Lip Glaze.
Reddy Kisser Slicker: website states it is a “medium red shimmer”. I don’t see a lot of shimmer with Reddy, but the description is accurate that its a medium red. Its actually pretty opaque for being a lip gloss, this is more of a lip glaze I would say. I love the red in that its not a brick red, which seems to happen with dark reds.
Bitten Kisser Slicker: website says its a “sheer cabernet red” and that is very accurate. I love the fact its a dark red but is sheer so it makes my lips look naturally dark and beautiful, and not that I’m wearing lipstick.
Genuine Kisser Slicker: website says its a “sheer rose shimmer.” I wouldn’t say this is super shimmer, its more opaque like Reddy but it is a lovely rose/dark pink color. I would say that is probably the same color as my lips, but does provide a little pop.
Best Friend: website says its a “shimmery pinky peach” and I think that is accurate. Its lighter then my natural lip color and a little too opaque so it did not look well on me. Pale lips on me tend to make me look sickly since I’m naturally pale. But, for girls who like lighter peachy pink colors (its more pink then peachy), you will like this.
Dame Butter Cream: website says its a “golden red plum” and that is accurate. It is a reddish plum color with a goldish sheen that really gives it an interesting depth. My boyfriend actually commented on how nice my lips look with this! Its not super gold (that would not look well with my skintone), but the warm shimmer to the cool toned red plum is really interesting and very pretty.
Overall, these are all so pretty and because they are so cheap and made with such nice ingredients, I will be buying more!!

Love the gold packaging. Love the colors and the staying power. I bought at least 6 red based ones and I love them.

picked this up after reading all the recommends – wow!! the rose femme is my mlbb shade. got the velvet merlot too which is pretty bright. i do like to wear a bold lip when i wear my glasses and this definitely fit the bill. can’t wait to try out more colors. this has good staying power (not as good as a lipstick, better than a gloss) , goes on easily and has no offensive odor. price is decent as well. go get some!!

Honestly these are the best lipsticks I’ve ever tried. I own Matte Naked, Creme Nude and Matte Darling. The mattes are a masterpiece of a formula – they go on so smooth and never look or feel heavy, it feels like nothing on the lips! They don’t transfer or move around at all and they wear for like 4 hours. They are everything I like about a liquid lip formula but without drying out my lips or being uncomfortable and chalky. These smell like muted chocolate (think too faced) which I like. I wish they had more colours of this because I want to add more to my collection but I don’t need another orange, red or deep dark purple. Their creme formula is also great, much more moisturizing, and sometimes needs to be blotted to look flawless and not heavy. They have a fabulous colour range in this formula and I’ll be picking up more of these soon. The cremes also smell (and taste) like watermelon jolly ranchers which is awesome.
EDIT: Added Matte Confident (beautiful not-too-deep-nor-bright red), Matte Innocence, Teddy Bare, Naturally Chic, and Bahama Beige to my collection. They’re practically all I wear!

I am in love with Milani lipstick.

I bought 4 of these and will return all but one. I liked Bronze Beauty, very metallic, very “on trend”, nice pigmentation. I love the Watermelon smell even though I am sensitive to scents. It is not overpowering. It reminds me of the smell of another bunch of lipsticks I used to own in high school, cannot remember what they were though.
It’s important to note that the matte colors do not have a watermelon scent, they have a vanilla “playdough” smell that is similar to the black tubes of Rimmel lipstick. The 3 colors I didn’t like were 2 mattes and 1 regular. The regular was Bahama Beige (looked like I was putting colored water on, no texture, no pigment), Matte Blissful (way too blue-based for me but even if it weren’t it is very cakey and patchy, Wet’n’Wild’s Megalast lipstick in “Dollhouse” is a much prettier much better formula with a similar shade), and Matte Naked (formula was OK but the color was just not pigmented or pretty. I think it would wash out 90% of people but it wasn’t horrible, just not worth the price point especially when Rimmel does nudes better).
I probably won’t buy any other colors since I’m 1/4 but I do like the one shade I’m keeping.
ashamedWasp1
I’ve recently become more of a lipstick wearer and these are good. Most impressed with the texture, not dry or cakey, and good lasting power. I enjoy the watermelon smell it’s not too overpowering.

just received my milani lipstick shade 60 innocence, really dont like it as it is not a well sitting lipstick and is more orange based than nude/pink based.
love the packaging though

I have tried the colour M401, N9, and C211. The bullet shape is excellent for accurately drawing your lips. The colours are very pigmented and creamy. They feel a great combination of secure but comfortable, although they do transfer throughout the day.
I would recommend them, but I don’t think they are remarkable enough for me to repurchase in the future.

I was looking for a pink MLBB lipstick, and I fell in love with the satin #30 which was a nude mauve pink (I’m not sure I’m not so good in describing color lol) it really fitted me when I swatched it at the counter. However, when I got home, without all the lightnings, bam I realized it washed off on skin. I dyed my hair lighter after that though. Honestly, I still like it for some reasons; I love the finish, I love the color payoff& the coverage on my lips (I have a pigmented lips), I love the texture which glides on nicely (better than my mac), I love the staying power and how it fades slowly and leaves a nice stain (considering mine is a soft color), the scent is also not so strong (again better than Mac scent)…
The thing that I’m not so pleased about is the it is sooo pricey for the amount of product I get. Also remember to slap on a little lip balm before you wear this lipstick because it can get a little bit drying.
betrayedDove7
I recently changed my hair from very light blonde to dark neutral blonde which really looks like a neutral brown to all that look at it.
Anyway, I was having trouble with my lipsticks. All the pretty soft pinks that I love were looking washed out on my Fair-Medium skin and pale blue eyes. FWIW, I am using a darker eyebrow pencil and I’m pleased with the results.
I have found that #35 MUFE lipstick wakes my face right up! I put some NARS laguna/orgasm on to warm up my face and I look like a new person.
Give it a try…the pigment is incredible and I don’t have to reapply for hours.
mereRat5
GOOD texture, makes my lips look healthier, but it’s too pricey,
aloofPoultry9
I have this in #37 which is described as a bright satin pink. Its soooo pretty! Its a very bright rosey pink and it really looks great as a pop of color on very fair skinned girls. When I want to do a soft neautral eye and play up my lips… this is my go to color. I find it very similar in color to an old discontinued Milani lipstick I have been trying to dupe forever and could never get close enough. I took off one lippie because that old Milani lippie ($6) is way more moisturizing than this! (it was a great one though…still have a stub of it left in a tube.) This isnt too bad but after awhile I do notice my lips drying out more than usual. But I’m happy to finally find that color and I dont mind paying the price for it. Yay!!
pluckyShads6
I love MUFE lipsticks. First I started with the 212 Lacquered, it’s a warm beige pink color, very intense. I don’t fancy the packaging then, it’s a bit bulky and the transparent part of the tube wasn’t flattering. But the fret is over now they have new lipstick collection in store with new packaging which I find very exquisite!I acquired the Matt 5, pink violet. The color is perfect with long lasting power. I don’t like to splurge on having varieties of lip color, that’s the only thing that keeps me from buying their entire collection =)
Note: u need to apply lip balm prior, especially for the matte color
truthfulChough0
I have this lipstick in satin 35. It’s a medium pink with some mauve tones. I love this lipstick, I find it at least as pigmented as MAC lipsticks, if not more so. It goes on easily and smoothly and leaves lips moist. The color lasts well, too. Not sure how it fares with lip gloss on top, but the satin is shiny enough I found I didn’t really need lip gloss. I don’t really like the way the lipstick itself is shaped, I prefer how MAC lipsticks are shaped, but that’s a negligible trait that doesn’t affect the quality of the lipstick.
ecstaticPonie3
Their range of colors are fantastic! They are really easy to apply and they do not bleed out also they last really long on the lips and does not dry me out.
There is a big con though, I’ve had three of these and all of them snapped in the tube! I’m always really careful when I apply lipstick and this never happens to me with other brands. I would love to buy more but it’s simply not worth it when they break. Make up store, fix this now!
