i love this lipstick so much. bought this in the shade j’adore. it comes off as a peachy brown on me & it is my everyday shade.
id say this is a traditional cream lipstick but the formula feels so nice! creamy, pigmented (opaque one swipe, intense with two swipes) & long wearing. it doesnt settle or clump up. it has more of a slightly glossy finish than your regular satin. feels moisturising on the lips.
the packaging is great. feels luxurious. it has a magnetic lock which helps keep your lipstick closed in your bag (looking at you, revlon). slight sweet smell but nothing too noticeable.
my full sized tube is almost gone & i need to repurchase another!

I have had the sample Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, like a lot of others, for quite some time. Every time I put it on I think to myself, “wow, what color is this? I need the full size”. Well, I am wearing it today and once again, I love this color on me. It’s baked rose according to the description, but it seems to lean slightly berry on me. it is more of a statement lip, but still good to wear during the day, as I am today. I really am loving the color so much and I just put the full size in my cart, so I can purchase it at the upcoming Sephora sale.

This is another product that I repurchased. I’m a makeup junkie and rarely repurchase products. My go to color is Core Coral. It’s perfect on me. Not too orange, not to pink. In fact, it’s my go to ‘red’. I have light to medium skin color. Neutral, leaning warm. On me, this lipstick fades evenly so it looks good through out the day or evening.

I would purchase when there other lipsticks that work just as good for less or better quality for this price. It’s nice, smooth texture not super long lasting had the shade kiss kiss bang bang which I gave away cause I didnt like the color it’s like a dark kind of muted pink that leans towards other colors.

I got a sample size in the shade 238 Je T’Aime, and the name was quite fitting, because I fell a little bit in love with it. The formula is very opaque, as well as being very creamy without being slippery. It stays put, but it’s not waxy, and it neither exaggerates dry patches nor dries out my lips. It simply feels very luxurious on the lips. The brand describes the finish as being satin, though I would argue that it’s a little glossier than what I would normally classify as satin. The “one swipe is all you need” type of claim is very much true. Again, I only got a small size of this, but I’ve used it plenty of times without running out.
The shade looks like a dark-ish rose pink, but it applies looking more like a muted, pink-ish red. I’ve always been a fan of the bright red lip, and even though I still like that type of statement look, I like that this is slightly more muted.
I usually don’t go for high end brands when it comes to classic lipsticks, because I think there are a lot of great options from the drugstore/middle range brands. So would I buy the full size of this or another shade? Yes! I really do love the formula. WILL I buy it though, knowing it’s $30 (or rather $40 at Sephora Sweden)? Maybe not any time soon..
+ Cruelty free (only Marc Jacobs Beauty is, not the perfumes)
+ Super pigmented
+ Comfortable, non-drying formula
+ Doesn’t bleed or feather (though full disclosure – this very rarely happens to me with lipsticks at all)
+ The packaging is very stylish (even the sample size is, even though it’s, for obvious reasons, not magnetic like the regular case is)
+ Unscented
– Pricey – obviously you’re partly paying for the brand name

Boy, did I come to appreciate the MAC lipsticks after this disaster! I’ve been spoiled by MAC lipsticks in various colours and finishes for so long, I started taking them for granted. I didn’t purchase other brands, because I have a pretty good collection, so I only tried the Le Marc when I got it in the Sephora birthday gift along with the eye pencil (another disaster)… The colour I was ok with, I’m partial to mauve and pinks, the application was a tad annoying, it’s hard to explain why, but it needed more work than with my MAC lipsticks, which go on smooth and perfect in just one swipe. It went on pigmented and opaque, but already 20 minutes into the wear, that dreaded line around the inner part of the lips started appearing, while the rest of it faded considerably and my lips became super crepey and felt dry. I reapplied — same thing, 20 minutes in it looked dreadful. Hard pass.
Cons: price, longevity, drying
Pros: slick packaging

I adore these lipsticks. This is easily one of my favorite, if not my favorite, formulas. The formula is thick and smooth and creamy. It’s not overly soft so it never gets too slippy, but it’s also never dry. It does not last 10 hours but it does last a long time. With a lip liner it lasts through a meal for me and most of a day. The packaging is a magnetic closure and quite heavy. The only downside of the packaging is it’s slightly oblong in the diameter so it does not fit in the lipstick organizers with the square holes.
I have tried this in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (like everyone else on the planet), So Rouge (the VIB Rouge gift a couple years ago), Dashing, Infamous, and I have Slow Burn and Je T’Aime coming so I’ll update once I’ve tried those. KKBB is a medium pink berry that I makes for a brighter, darker every day color. It’s not so bright you can’t pull it off but it’s clearly lipstick and clearly not your lips. I really like it a lot. Infamous is like the softer, less berry little sister. Infamous is great casual day, throw it on with no make up and brightens my face color. It’s got a hint of brightness to it that wakes up my face. I purchased this one specifically to act as an every day color. Dashing is a slightly berry leaning medium to dark red. I don’t wear much red, but I love this red so much. It’s a happy red. It looks almost velvety when I apply it and it lasts forever on the lips. So Rouge is very close to Dashing, it’s the same depth of color, more glossy, and slightly red brown compared to Dashing’s berry tone. I actually picked up Dashing looking for a dupe for So Rouge as you cannot buy it full sized. I really wish they would release So Rouge because it’s beautiful slightly dark neutral red. It’s the red lipstick that convinced me I could actually pull off reds. Slow Burn came in a Sephora perk and I have tried it on once so I can really only comment on the color. It’s a muted beige pink. It reminds me of Bobbi Brown Bare Pink or MAC Mmmmmm. Sort of Kylie Jenner. Less pink the MAC Faux, more pink and less grey than MAC Blankety. It’s a really lovely lighter nude. Je T’Aime is one I ordered and don’t have yet but I tried it on in the store. It’s a muted red, which means it’s brighter but not full red. I’ve been looking for a color like this for a long time. Something fun and bright, but easy to wear and casual. I’m super excited for this one.
For reference, some of my other favorite lipstick formulas are MAC Amplified crèmes and NARS Audacious lipsticks. I like MUFE a lot as well. I will say this line is very pink and red and berry. There are very few nude and peachy lipsticks, there are some browns. But lipsticks like MAC kind a sexy, MAC shy girl, and NARS Bridgette are my HG’s and there is nothing in this line even in the same universe as those shades. I love this formula so I hunted for shades that would work for me. It’s was actually good for me because it got me to try things I don’t normally wear but I love them all. And if you need a red lipstick, this line will definitely have one for you as it carries every variation of red you can think of.

I got Kiss Kiss Bang Bang as a deluxe sample. It wears very well, doesn’t feather. I usually only have to touch it up once a day after lunch. I wear it over a Nyx lipliner. I checked that I would buy it again, but in reality, I probably wouldn’t solely based on the price.

Tried this in Slow Burn, a light dusty rose shade. The color transfers easily and is a nice light dusty pink color on. I will say these don’t feel “set” like I would like them to. Like they don’t adhere as good as the revlon lipsticks that I am in love with right now. Pretty and I’ll keep it but wouldn’t repurchase any new ones.

This lipstick, in the shade ‘Blow’ is my current signature lip now that my hair is a pale colour again. It’s the perfect vampy berry shade and is perfect for my colouring. I used to be a MLBB girl but I find as I get older, rather than being flattering, those types of pinks and nudes just kind of make me… fade into the background somehow. Blow is not only a gorgeous colour, it wears impeccably for several hours, and is anything but a wallflower shade.
It applies fairly evenly, which I found surprising as I have seen reviews stating that this particular shade gave a few reviewers some trouble. But then, I tend to sort of smudge it slightly into matte perfection anyway, so it is possibly just my application method which is hiding its sins. It is a little pricey yes, but it is beautiful, and makes me feel beautiful. And to me that is worth the expense.
