Like the member below, I have only used No 6 and I LOVE IT. One of my HG nude lipsticks.I really like the formula and staying power. Plus, it is a beautiful colour.

Beautiful packaging, nice glossy finish, hydrating, but this wears off my lips in one hour with no drinking or eating. For $40 CAD I expect better performance. The Too-Faced creamy lipsticks in the slim bullet perform so much better than this.

This product is a nice light whipped feeling lipstick. This is non drying and leaves your lips feeling Moisturized. This product definitely isn’t transfer resistant but it is a nice option for those with dry lips. The only thing I wonder is how to keep the tip pointed. My more detailed review video is below.

I have only used #6, but it is one of my all time favorite lipsticks and my favorite nude shade. I have fair skin (NC15) and blonde hair. It is moisturizing yet leaves a natural and not overly glossy finish. I highly recommend searching all of the shades in this line to find the one that is closest to your natural lip shade before purchase, as it is a little pricey for a nude lip color.

Pretty! Love the packaging! Very nice to tote in makeup bag. I like how convienient the crayon is and it doesn’t feel cheap in prouduct or packaging. I purchased Nude 2. It’s awesome. I mix it in to other lipsticks, especially if I need to warm them up a hint. It is also nice on it’s own, and I have even dabbed it on my cheeks in a pinch! Love and will repurchase!

I bought this about a year ago, and was iffy about it. (#6 mauvey color). It sat in my drawer for a while, then I chanced to apply it with lipliner (Mac beurre). It completely changed the look of the lipstick. I am older, and nude lips can look washed out on me. However, with the liner, life was added to the color, and I now find myself reaching for this as a daytimeIdon’twantmymouthtoscream look. I sometimes put Charlotte Tillbury Bitch Perfect over it which seems counterintuitive as BP is a peachy nude. However, the two work well together. I would recommend anyone who has had issues with the product to play around with it, and you may find, as I did, that it really is a great lipstick.

It’s been a long time since I have bought a high end lip product. I became fascinated with this lipcrayon( Nude #6) after seeing it on a youtuber’s lips. She had applied it to her lips after applying a lipliner and it looked so beautiful on her. The colour seemed like a flattering nudey-pink shade on her pigmented lips. This lip crayon is marketed as a satin full coverage formula. I agree it’s a fuller coverage lip product but I don’t feel it is as satiny on the lips as compared to some other lipsticks and lipcrayons on the market. This retails for $35 CDN at Sephora. Unfortunately when I applied this to my lips with my lipliner it made me looked washed out, so to help this lipcolour transform I apply one of my nude lipglosses on top and it looks so much better. I like to pair it with NYX’s Mega Shine Lip gloss in Natural.

Not thrilled with this. I got it at on a discount makeup site for 16.99 and I would have been REALLY bummed if I had paid full price. I got the darkest one – #6 – and it’s still too light and chalky. And “mauve nude”? Hardly. Very browny peachy looking. Applies very dry (for me) and looks dry on. So far I’ve purchased 3 Hourglass lip products – 2 of the Femme Rouge lipsticks, and this one – and I think I’m done. While I really like the lipstick formula, both of the shades I bought were annoyingly frosty – not shimmery but frosty – and this product doesn’t feel moisturizing at all. The lipstick shades I see that don’t look frosty are either super bright/dark or brown. And the matte liquid lipstick? NO BUENO for me – my mouth would look like a flat, colored, dry wrinkly prune. Me thinks it’s time to continue the lipstick hunt with another brand all together!

I was inspired by a pic of Blake Lively rocking a frosted new lip in a Vogue Loreal ad. I think in general the 70’s are back and as a bit of a makeup adventurer I wanted to try the look as I have been rocking heavier eyes lately. The problem for me with nude colors has always been that the colors that did not wash me out might be marked nude but do not register as nude. The shades that do register nude wash me out. Nude Rose from Laura Mercier is beautiful on me but it is not at all nude. I found the same with Very Victoria by Charlotte Tilbury which gives me Kylie Jenner 90’s lips but again, it is not nude. I went to Sephora and the MUA put my skin 1R07 into the color IQ which now does lipstick. I got matched into the Hourglass #4 and #5. They were both pretty but #5 had that shimmer that Blake did in the picture with a non shiny finish. It was a neutral pinky peach nude that did not make me look dead. The wear time is great and I love the applicator. This product is extremely simple to apply. I think I will wear this often.

I am NW15/20 with very pigmented lips and I tried the stylos No. 3 and 4 – both are good options, 3 has a bit more beige while 4 is a more rosy shade. I was definitely drawn in by the packaging, very elegant and high quality, like everything Hourglass I have tried so far. With less content than other high end lipsticks, the price tag is high at $30 before tax, but I enjoy high quality lipsticks so I splurged. What made me deduct two lippies and made these stylos a no-rebuy for me is their subpar staying power. While they give decent coverage when first applied this formula disappeared from my lips within 2 hours. No eating or drinking. I adore the Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Cream lipsticks, of which I own several shades. They last much longer on my lips, about 3-4 hours, than these styles, and without being drying. I don’t have the time to constantly reapply lipstick, especially with so many other options available. Within Hourglass, I will stick with the Velvet Cream line.
