Magic Lime is a bright chartreuse-y lime. It is an uncommon, bizarre, wonderful color. The photo makes it look more olive-y and washed out than it really is. It’s much brighter and prettier IRL. It has a mild, pleasant, short-lived scent. Application is smooth and creamy, and it’s a little shiny. It makes my lips softer and moisturized. It’s kinda streaky, and the coverage isn’t always so hot, but I’m stubborn & make it work. It could stand a primer or something similar. It needs fewer touch-ups than the darker green also in the Femme range, Envious Desire.
I wish it were as well-behaved as Jewelry Box (another Femme lipstick), but it’s my 2nd favorite KleanColor lippie. It’s a great $2 lipstick. I’m working on my second tube of this color, and have two backups 🙂
