Ophelia is my favourite nude shade; it lives in a plastic holder on my dresser since I use it all of the time, as it’s a reliable shade that goes with everything. The brand describes it as ‘nude chestnut’, whilst I’d call it a creamy beige (a bit lighter than my lips). I didn’t bother looking for a Everlasting lipliner to go with Ophelia as I thought that it is a ‘basic’ nude and I’d already have lots of liners that would go with it, but the shade is quite unique beige-base nudes and only one liner out of the dozens I have comes close – Morphe Backseat Love. The brand also has a Studded Kiss bullet lipstick in the same shade which I’m trying to resist buying, but I’m going to end up picking up eventually.
When it comes to outstanding liquid lipstick formulas, KvD Beauty is one of my preferred brands for comfort, long wear time and the shade options are more unique for a main-steam brand; their formula is the perfect balance between being not-too-wet and not-too-dry, so it applies easily for a liquid lipstick and dries very quickly. It’s the best of both worlds: you are getting the strong colour, matte finish and good staying power of a traditional lipstick, minus the drying feeling you can get from a bullet lipstick. As a liquid you get a soft & moisturized feeling and pleasant scent/taste of a gloss, minus the sticky feeling and movable colour. Depending on food/drink this wears for around seven/eight hours, and it fades evenly.

I love the Kat Von D liquids – super long lasting and not drying. This is a really flattering nude color, I like the formula, dries just quick enough and not too quick. This and Ludwig are my favorite nudes (although they’re really similar – looking back I should’ve just got one of them).

The Ophelia shade in the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick line is one of the nude shades. Described as a nude chestnut, it did not seem to match that description for me. It was lighter than I had expected and was peach in tone, which does not work with my skin. This liquid lipstick is easy to apply and stays on well. It does not feel especially drying, which is a plus for a liquid lipstick. While I think the color is pretty, it just does not work on me, which is why I will not repurchase. That being said, I would recommend it if the color works for your skin tone. I recommend testing it before shelling out $20 for a tube.
