Gah! Words cannot describe how much I adore this lipstick. It’s the perfect blackened plum (I can’t think of any other way to describe the shade?): a deep merlot? Either way, I love it. It’s more of a comfortable matte finish, and it’s not drying whatsoever.
It’s strange; I only ever wear liquid lipsticks when wearing darker shades, as I’m deathly afraid of smudging dark lipstick across my face, however, I don’t have that fear when wearing this – it’s so comfortable, I forget I’m even wearing it! Really really love this product and I hope to try more shades soon (I’m building a collection!!).

This is my third RdF product. I got a sample first and liked it a lot.
Packaging: much smaller product than expected, but same black plastic with subtle stars. Looks nice. Just a regular twist up tube.
Application: This stuff goes on DARK. Looks much like the picture, described as a deep ripe blackberry stain. Accurate. The application is a bit patchy, despite exfoliating and applying a lip balm. I’m not sure I love it full force. What I usually do though is apply it and then gently blot it off with a finger until only a stain remains. Then its a wine coloured stain that is truly beautiful.
Staying power: the stain lasts and fades in the middle. It tends to go a bit purple with time, not sure why? Maybe a chemical reaction? Do need reapplying 1 – 2/day.
Overall: I love this brand. This colour is reasonably unique, but for the price, a more moisturizing and overall effective lip stain/sheer is the classic Clinique Black Honey.
