To start with, this is from MAC’s special Aaliyah collection, which is already super cool.
I love the amplified creme formula. Like, really love it. The only other MAC lipstick I own is a satin and this is everything I thought it would be. It’s smooth, creamy, so comfortable even on dry lip days, and super pigmented (one thing I like about MAC is that even though one of my lips is a lot darker than the other, it’s not really noticeable at all with their lipstick because the colour is so strong). My only complaint is that it transfers super easily but while it does come off over time if you’re eating and drinking, it’s not nearly as bad as other non-matte formulas.
And the colour is amazing. I love wine-reds but this is sort of a dark berry, red with some dark, cool pink, and it looks so cool. I’ve even seen reviews with people who don’t usually enjoy dark red saying they like it, so it could be worth a try. But for anyone who already likes that sort of colour…. go for it, definitely, this one is perfect.
