These are really nice lipsticks. I happened to pick up two when Sephora had a one-day sale so I got them for $10 a pop as opposed to $20 each. I think for $20 they’re a bit steep. $15 might be more reasonable, in my opinion.
But they are really nice. They feel thinner, and not thick or waxy, on the lips, but provide nice moisture. There is no scent or flavor (thank god), and the colors I picked (Tutu and XOX) impart a pretty, natural color. Tutu is more pale, so it’s a tiny bit less forgiving if my lips are a bit dry, so in that case I go for the slightly deeper Tutu. Staying power is decent, provided you’re not eating or sipping endless cups of coffee.
The casing is divine. It’s heavy and metallic and snaps shut securely with a satisfying click. Even at $20 a piece I’d consider purchasing again, but preferably after I use these (and some more of my stash of other lipsticks up. If I won the lottery, however, I’d be buying them all.

These are surprisingly good lipsticks. For texture and pigmentation they rival luxury brands. You are bound to find your perfect MLBB shade here, or at least a shade that truly compliments your coloring. The texture is very creamy, these are highly pigmented, and they are full coverage as opposed to sheer. There is little to no shimmer in the shades I have. I find myself reaching for these time and time again. You simply cannot go wrong. If you are in a rush or you cannot decide, these lipsticks will always work well. There is no scent and I find them to be moisturizing. They feel great on the lips. Grab a few. You will want to keep one or two in your purse so that you always have a great neutral lipstick.

I absolutely love these lipsticks! I have the shades Kitty and Tutu – and definitely plan to pick up some more. I am very impressed. These lipsticks are creamy, balmy, hydrating and comfortable to wear. They have a creme finish and leave the lips with a healthy shine. They don’t feel heavy on the lips, don’t bleed or sink into lip lines. They also don’t dry out the lips. They are not long lasting lipsticks by any means, but they do last around 3 hours on me without eating or drinking. They do not have a noticeable scent to them either. The range has a decent selection of everyday shades, so most skin tones would be able to find a good nude or mlbb shade for them. If you like bright colours, this is not the line to look at. However, I love these to wear to work or more conservative occasions. These are reasonably priced and great quality. I cannot recommend them enough!

I purchased the Gen Nude Radiant Lipstick in Strip and I find myself reaching for it all the time. Application is very easy and the product is nicely pigmented. The texture is wonderful, slick and moisturizing – almost more like a balm. It gives my lips a nice subtle sheen. Unfortunately the wear is also more comparable to a balm, but what I like about it is that it wears off gradually and evenly. Despite it not being a long wear lipstick, I will definitely repurchase in this and other shades.

If you are looking for a long-lasting lipstick, these are not it. If you want lipstick that gives a moisturizing finish and feels like a lip-balm, these might be the one! I recently bought two colours- Tutu, described online as a delicate mauve, and Crush, a neutral pink nude. Tutu is my favourite, it is more flattering and is close in colour to my natural lips. Crush is interesting, I didn’t like it at first because as there was an obvious white base when first applied, which seems to blend away into my lips and look more like a natural nude after a few minutes of wear. I am keeping it to wear on weekends or with a smokey eye; I’ve been using Tutu daily. I think Tutu gives my lips a slight pink stain, which is nice because the product itself is not long lasting- reapplication necessary after a drink or meal. These are great when my lips are dry and I want something to wear, and I can reapply on the go because the colours are light and spreadable.
The packaging I love- heavy black tube with magnetic closure. If you live in a hot climate, I could see these melting because they are so balmy.
Comparison to similar lipsticks in my collection: Tutu is a shade lighter than Mac Syrup but similar in tone, and is more sheer and less cool ( much easier to pull off on my skin tone) compared to Revlon Primrose. Shanghai spice (Mac) has less of a white base and pulls more peachy/coral as opposed to nude in comparison to Crush.
