I am a big fan of Burt’s Bees and so decided to try this out as a cheaper alternative… pretty solid option, if you’re just looking for a quality lip balm. I missed the mintiness of the Burt’s, which made me like it less- would definitely recommend as long as you aren’t as you aren’t expecting it to have the exact same feel. Decent product!

So I found this wonderful product and have been searching every Walgreen’s I find! Well, it has been reformulated and re released! I’m so happy! It’s a great lip balm at a great price!

WOW! I cannot believe what a steal this is, and how much better it is than any of the other lip balms I have. It’s similar to Burt’s Bees but IMHO it blows Burt’s Bees out of the water and is a fraction of the price (I bought four with a 2 for $1 coupon in the Walg ad.) It’s not as minty or tingly as BB – it’s just right. Great for overnight use or just anytime use – although if you need a really intensive treatment, you might want something a little more emollient. Love it – HG!

Walgreens’s dupe for Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. When I first started using it, it felt kind of rubbery but after a couple uses it’s actually smoother to apply than Burt’s Bees. It also has that cool minty feel to it. The ingredients listed are identical to Burt’s Bees except the Walgreens’s version listed sunflower oil as the first ingredient while Burt’s Bees listed beeswax first. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I don’t miss Burt’s Bees. Great lip balm, will buy again!
