I’m torn about this lip balm. It seems fairly moisturizing and the nude color is the perfect “my lips but better” shade for me. (I am a brunette with fair cool toned skin and often nudes can look too brown on me but this one is rosy hued) It feels really good and smooth but not sticky on and makes my lips look full and shiny. I don’t have to worry about applying too much as it is fairly sheer while still brightening up my face. It is the perfect lip for when I don’t want to look like I am wearing a lot of makeup. It smells like mint, which is okay though not my favorite. I do love the cardboard tube, much more environmentally friendly than plastic. My complaint is that as others have complained, my sample sizes are so soft that they tend to smush when I’m applying. I have to be very careful and don’t feel comfortable throwing this one in my bag as it just seems very fragile. I don’t know if a full size would be any sturdier or not. I’ve considered keeping it in the fridge to see if that helps keep it firm as my house is fairly warm in summer.

This sheer lip balm (basically clear, very little tint, mine is Nude) is sooo shiny and fairly long lasting. It is so soft, though it may be the mini format to blame (though reviews here seem to agree). Mine is all squished, melty and bendy and I have to barely edge it up to use it or it just bends over. WNRP – too $$ for lip balm.

This product is absolutely terrible. My issue is that it is so fragile that it started breaking off and wasted so much product. I have tried drugstore products that are much better quality and affordable. I expected a higher-end company like Tarte to produce higher quality products but the packaging literally feels like paper. I would not recommend this to anyone at all.

I have this in Nude, beside the smooth creamy feeling and cooling effect it has once applied onto my lip, I do not like this product at all. It doesn’t rescue my lip (and that what it’s supposed to to). Eventhough the packaging is very cute, it’s feel quite cheap. My tube seem loose (wonder if it was just me and my defect product).
Overall? Would not repurchase.

Have this in two shades, Buff & Nude. Love these.
I agree with all the reviews mentioning the soft texture and amount of product. I do not have issues with these things. I minimally advance the bullet as I use it, so have not had problems with breaking. I never finish lip products, so if I actually finish these I will be pleased, lol.
Buff seems like a dupe for one of the Dior Lip Glow balms (622, I believe).

I purchased this in the Rose color. As others have mentioned, the packaging is very pretty. The texture is nice and soft and the color is beautiful. The product is moisturizing, but unfortunately it doesn’t last long on the lips. I would not repurchase.

Have this in Buff, it’s a light nude shade that does show up a little darker than my natural lipcolour. It’s very shiny and moisturizing, but doesn’t last long. The packaging is beautiful (different ocean themes) but this is so soft that is just melts and breaks. Not worth the money at all because of this. Maybe putting this in a squeeze tube would have been a better choice for Tarte. Would not repurchase.

I have this lip balm in the color nude. Just a tint of nude to make ones natural lip color still show through. Very moisturizing and comforting on the lips. Just too soft, I find I’m breaking the bullet off all the time. So I ended up melting it so I can pour into a lip palette. Just wish the product was more hardy, or just put it in a pot and apply with a lip brush.

ok…I am finally writing a review of this.
First off, let me say—I LOVE the balm. I have it in the nude shade, and it’s flattering, feels great on my lips, smells and tastes wonderful. The packaging is adorable. I got one in a mixed set that Sephora was selling and fell in LOVE.
But..it ran out in like 3 weeks (daily use). I was thinking, that is very little product, but maybe there was less product cuz it came in a kit from Sephora (multi brand sampler kit, pretty much).
So I purchased another, at full price.
And here we are…another 3 weeks later and I’m scraping the tube for the last remnants.
This makes me sad, as I’d repurchase over and over again if it only lasted longer. 🙁 Not worth the money, otherwise.

I purchased this with a gift card I received because I wanted to try a new glossy lip product. I should have put more thought into the purchase; I definitely wouldn’t buy this again. This is a great product for lips that is very shiny, nourishing, and lasts a decent amount of time for a product of its kind. Nude is a very natural light pink brown on me (NC30 but with pale lips). The product goes VERY FAST, and there is very little of it. I think it will be used up within a month which does not justify the price.
