Best lip product ever! Recently, the outline of my top and bottom lips suddenly became ultra dry, chapped, cracked, peeling, weeping and also terribly itchy. Cute, huh? I tried Vaseline, Dr. Bronners, Burt’s bees, Carmex, Blistex, even diaper rash cream- all my old standbys, and not one of them worked. Finally, FINALLY, my lips became completely soothed and refreshed in the span of 15 min after just one application. How did I forget about this mini miracle? If it worked when I was 6 and tobogganing all day…it sure as heck should work now. It’s bouncy, silky, stays put and I think the paraffin in it seals in every molecule of moisture. 100/100 score. Going to buy 2 more to stash!

i pretty much own every lip balm on the market & whenever my lips are seriously chapped, i always go to this one to do the job! it doesn’t leave the cooling effect that blistex does to me, but it does do the trick so i’m not complaining much about that

A go to for me. The Classic Original smell is a bit of an acquired taste but I’ve grown to love this stuff because, simply put, it’s cheap, available, and it works. There are other balms I love as well, like Glossier’s Balm Dotcom and Nivea A Kiss of Moisture, but when I’m on the go I’m all about the Chapstick because it’s quick and easy to apply hygenically (I don’t have to use my finger like I do with Balm Dotcom) and it doesn’t get melty in my purse (*cough* Nivea *cough*) which I find hugely annoying. I also love the satiny finish on my lips (not too glossy), how the product feels in general, and appreciate that there is a bit of SPF in it.

This is a “Classic” for a reason. It’s tried & true! It may be overlooked in our fascination of LE Chapstick flavors but this will always be plentiful (& affordable) at your local DS or target/Walmart Anywhere Chapstick is sold. I’m sold! I’m one of those self professed Chapstick addicts but I cannot stand to have bare lips must always be in lipstick/gloss/balm/lip oil. Applying it often is like an OCD thing for me & I do think for others some of them. Classic has a soft flavor to if, it’s perf to use w a nude lipliner like from MAC. I miss this so much I want one today!!!!

EOS lip balms may be the “it” thing right now, but nothing makes my lips feel as satiny soft and luscious as the original ChapStick! I have the original, spearmint, and cherry. I’ve tried strawberry and it’s alright, though not one of my favourites. It lasts for a while and feels soft on the lips. I’m also addicted to the taste – yes, even the black original has an addictive flavour. This will always be a favourite of mine.

Put this under your lip sticks, lip gloss, and all others, and it will provide moist, clean, supple lips! No scent makes it so easy to layer, and I even use this when touching up other dry spots (ahem, nose and ears are amazing with this stuff)! It will always be my favorite, repurchase staple of the whole entire lip area. Boo EOS or Burt’s Bees, hello CHAPSTICK!!

I have a huge collection of various lip balms that I use. This is one of them.
This chapstick has a very strange scent to it. It’s not very pleasant, and takes getting used to. The chapstick applies easily, but has a very waxy feel to it. It works well as a base however. Lipstick and lipgloss sit nicely on top of it. It isn’t the most moisturizing lip balm, but it doesn’t make my lips chapped either. I do feel the need to re-apply it often though.
Overall, it’s just average. Not the worst but not the best.

I have the classic chapstick version of this and I’m SO in love with it. It provides incredible moisture to my lips and I’m obsessed with that tingly and fresh feeling it gives to the lips. The only reason why I wont rate this 5 stars is because if I apply a bit more to the lips, after a while it feels a little heavy.

I tried many products in the meantime, but always went back to this one. Cheap, effective, available in different stroes.
Lips are hydrated, with glow, baby soft. Ingenious.

Excellent product. I’m on Roaccutane so my skin is extremely dry. My lips get so dry that they peel and bleed. This is my 3rd time on Roaccutane and I was recommended it by my dermatologist my 1st time on the medication. It’s the only lip balm that works. It stops my lips peeling and bleeding. It also lasts a long time on my lips. I also like the tingling feeling and it soothes.

I don’t use this all year round but it’s good for when you want to bring out the big guns in winter. This was most effective when I went on a skiing holiday and the constant heat from under-floor heating in the chalet dried out my skin, lips, throat and hair. No other balms came close to sorting out the chapped lips problem when exposed to the elements on the mountain. I wouldn’t use it all the time (I find the menthol smell over powering and it’s got some ingredients that don’t normally agree with my skin) but it’s great in a “chapping emergency” ????

Like vaseline. Nothing fancy. Application from tube sucks. So I squish it out onto my finger first then apply to lips with finger. Will not re-purchase.

Nothing fancy, but this stuff works. I am prone to very dry lips, particularly in the winter, and this corrects them in one application. I am not a fan of the slight tingle, but it disappears quickly after applying. The scent/taste is not great either, but again, for a not all the time lip treatment to cure poorly weathered lips, it doesn’t matter to me. Please note teh indications on the package that say yo only use a few times in a day. For this super inexpensive price, this is a great product. Highly recommend.

Carmex in a tube is not for me. I find it messy and I always end up applying too much. I like the other ones though. They moisturise my lips well, although I am not too happy about the tingly feeling.

I was also a chap stick addict for many years. This stuff really does dry out your lips and makes you think you need to reapply constantly. After using other products that are much better for your lips I can honestly say I will never use this product again. My favorite to apply now is the jack black lip balm even though it is so much more expensive but at least it heals my lips instead of making them worse.

My friend gave this to me to try it. It was horrible, It smells like old sunscreen and it feels like i’m putting wax on my lips. I would not reccomend this. It doesn’t moisturize at all either.

I’m currently on my 5th tub of this product, as i’m absolutely in love with it. It is by far the best lip balm out there, and is so natural and smells amazing. When you first start using it, it can make your lips tingle, but i use it so much i’ve got used to it. It’s the perfect consistency, not greasy like vaseline or creamy, but balmy and smooth. It lasts for ages and has loads of product within the little tub. A little goes a long way with this, and it’s so affordable.
I’ll be using this product for many years to come.

Decent Price and packaging won’t save you from it burning your lips. It lasted less than 5 seconds before it had to be wiped off.

Can’t go wrong with this product. It is something that you can always come back to and depend on. The only thing I do not love about this product is the taste. Other than that, it is a great product that I will continue to purchase.
