I have been obsessed with lip balms for a good 20+ years. When I was 15 I started out with Bonnie Belle lip smackers and would have 10 on me at any given time (now I can’t stand those) and have been on a quest to find the perfect lip balm. Well 20 years later I found it. Lypsyl!
This brand is great and they don’t test on animals 🙂 While I love flavored lip balms, I do not love the strong perfumey-ness of Lypsyl’s balms. To me the original is nauseating and the other two I’ve tried cherry (second best) and tropical smell very artificial. But this conditions your lips for hours and hours. It’s amazing and dirt cheap too. I highly recommend them.

This is literally the only lip treatment I can use. I used to use the original formula but it was so perfumey I couldn’t stand it. I found this one which is both dye and fragrance free, but it still has the same emollient properties as the original. This stuff doesn’t just sit on your lips like Vaseline or Blistex, but actually moisturizes them to the point where the dead skin can just be buffed off and with continued use it’ll never reappear. The best part is how long this stuff lasts. I’ve gone to sleep with it on my lips and when I wake up it’s still there. If it can last through a night of tossing and turning it’s a winner in my book.
