I use this as a overnight lip balm before bed. After cleansing my face i put this on while i do my nightly rituals. Its such a little luxury product that i cannot justify paying 50usd for a lip balm so i waited for Macys to get it on sale. I do suggest digging a good amount of product out to apply than just rubbing your fingers in it if you suffer from cracked peeling lips. When more product is used, it works better as a overnight treatment and healing. It works amazing in the winter months. The product slowly sinks in without creating that Vaseline like occlusive layer that just sits on top of the lips. In the morning the lips are smooth and feels like nothing is on them. I also apply this with my morning regime after cleansing my face along with my moisturizing step. Its a thin and gel like texture that gives the lips a little glossy but not sticky shine. it does slowly melt into the lips and makes my lips plump and smooth prior to lipstick application. I must add that this does have exfoliating properties so your lips will help the peels come off, but dont be alarmed. Its not peeling from being chapped, its just deadskin trying to shed itself. It has no smell or taste which i do appreciate. I do not like lip products that have flavor.
Even though it is expensive, it lasts forever. It makes my lips super plumped and ready for lipstick in the morning. I love how the pot is huge and i can fot my finger in it even if i have longer nails. It is a luxury item and you are paying for the brand. i realized how its not travel friendly because of the pot form as well so its a pro and a con. I like to use lip balm in stick form when i am out and about This is only good for at home when my hands are clean. i love this because its much more of a nicer texture than lip products with petroleum/vaseline. It hurts my wallet and its not sanitary but i do really enjoy it. I wish it came in a tube form!
Edit, i find myself reapplying and this dissapearing too fast. It feels nice but I rather use something cheaper. Avene cold cream is far superior;

Didn’t love it. Its not terrible but there are much better high end lip products out there some coasting less. pass on this one

Oohhhh I’m a Chanel skincare user did some1 say junkie so when I saw this I waited until xmas (justifying a $50 lipbalm somehow was santa telling me to buy this for myself? I was so f good all year long). I use their cleanser/toner/moisturizer/night creme/hand creme & makeup I just adore Chanel. This *is* a lipbalm, I’ve never had any other luxury lipbalms except MAC Lip conditioner & Dior Creme Rose but they seem just a tad more magickal than carmex in the tub for a buck $1 more than effective & luxurious & I am a balm junkie mostly Victoria’s Secret beauty Rush balms/glosses, chapstick brand, & bonne bell lipsmackers but if you can get this (I got mine from Macy’s dot com) i highly recommend getting MAC/Dior although they R alot cheaper. This makes your lips hella smooth & supple. I am weird but I rub it onto my mouth directly from the container! No worries just reserve this for your personal use. Idk what folks are speaking of in the lipstick tube; mine is in a pot like the photo. This is my most expensive lip product. “Every great why needs a great how” so why I got my lips feeling so great is this lipbalm. USD$50 it has no plumping properties & is translucent mostly matte. (Unisex) buy this for your man! The perf gift that keeps giving about any1 that person that is so hard to buy for; has evthing or ur fave loved 1! Any1 u wanna kiss will get the hint 😉

I have tried allot of lip balms to save my lips during the winter. This is by far the best sadly better than La Mer I think. It is worth it. Elizabeth Arden lip balm was actually making my lips worse.

I got this as a gift and absolutely love it. This is my favorite lip balm to moisturize my lips, especially in the winter time. It smells lovely, the consistency is not too thick, and its not a bad taste if you happen to lick your lips. Its a neutral pigmentation so you don’t need to be exact when putting it on.

I received this balm as a gift; otherwise I could never see myself buying a luxury brand lip balm. It has a light and plesant fragrance that you notice only as you’re applying the product. It melts into your lips and looks glossy and translucent. I’ve been using it at night for a couple of weeks now and I feel like my lips and moisturised and my lipstick applies better and lasts longer. I will definitely continue to buy it when it runs out because it saves my from reapplying lip balm throughout the day and has become a part of my nighttime beauty regime.

I’m somewhat of a lip balm and hand cream skincare snob (ok, A total snob), and I tried this at a friend’s behest. I couldn’t be more pleased with this product. The texture is perfection, melting into lips during application. Sadly, it only comes in a jar form so I use it at home where my hands are nice and clean.
Prior to trying this, I’d been using a wide array of high-end lip balms, including: By Terry Baune de Rose, La Mer The Lip Balm, Sisley Nutritive Lip Balm, Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Lip Treatment, to name but a few. I haven’t used any Chanel skincare since high school, and was astounded by how fantastic the products are at present. A vast improvement.
My boyfriend also really enjoys this lip balm, so it’s nice that it’s unisex. It doesn’t contain any color or fragrance, and has a very mild sweet taste which is pleasant. It only takes a small amount to cover my lips, making of the price quite reasonable. Compared to other lip balms like Sisley, it’s a steal. It leaves my lips feeling nourished and hydrated without being too heavy. I’ll absolutely keep this in my regimen.

I bought SOIN TENDRES LEVRES, which is as i understood the updated product of Hydra Caresse, for my husband because he has really chapped lips and they are just most of the times especially in winter in aweful condition, and of course I tried the product myself. So far, this is the best chaptick, if i can call it this way. It’s transparent with no taste or smell which is quite convinient for my husband. You dont need to apply a lot of product because of its oily rich texture; however, it’s not greasy whatsoever and doesnt have the feeling of wax on your lips, high quality chapstick. Absorbs deeply into the lips and hydrates lips instantly, stays on the lips for a long time. Lips are smooth, plump, and just beautiful, feels really natural on the lips. The packaging is ok, i thought it would be made out of metal material as Rouge Coco is, but it’s just plain glossy plastic. One thing I dont like you can see finger prints and finger oil on the package which makes it look cheap and quite unpleasant to me, however, in any case, it doesnt affect the overall quality and the results of the lipcare. My husband likes it and I gave the sample to my mom, who is really picky about chapticks. She loved it and will be purchasing it. Highly recommend for people who dont like chaptick to be too greasy, waxy, overwhelming, and sticky, or somewhat dry.

I really love this lip balm.
I’m 15 and a model, so I love to have good products i can trust in, because I’m always on n the go.
This lip balm is extremely effective and luxurious, the packaging is amazing.
It moisturize my lips so well, and a have very full lips, which makes them more sensible to dryness, but id definitely controls it.
I got it in a goodie bag, at Chanel show with some other products from the brand, and since then I never live it.
It is not greasy but very moisturizing at the same time, and perfect for lipstick base.
When I use it makeup artists at the shows never need to add another balm to my lips, so it really helps me in the airplane.

i love this lip treatment.. i used to use everyday.. love the consistency, moisture, smell and everything that it does to your lips.. i jut don’t like the packaging.. it looks like a lipstick so when i dab some on in public, it’s tacky to put on lipstick or lipgloss in public (my pet peeve).. one other complain is that it’s too flimsy.. i have to be careful not to break in half.. so i went browsing for another lip balm and there i found laura mercier’s lip silk… way better and lasts longer.. and ohhh packaging looks whole lot more like a lip balm..
