I love this lip “foundation”. My lipstick stays on for hours without feeling dry or sinking into lines. It comes in a beautiful gold case somewhat smaller than a regular lipstick tube. The case is so beautiful that I do not mind quickly applying it in public before swiping on a new coat of lipstick. Really worth having in my purse and on my makeup counter.

Been using this for years. If used correctly it does enhance the milk line that dissapears after age 40 or so.
Use lipliner then apply slightly over the natural contour and the effect is definitely plumping. It also makes slippy lipsticks hold better. I love it.

This product does make a slight difference in bringing out the true pigments in lipsticks, but the difference seems minimal at best. Other than a slight color enhancement and a little moisturization, this pale waxy product packaged in a pretty golden tube doesn’t do much. I wanted to love it.. I really wanted to love it, but after using it for a week I wouldn’t venture so far as to say that Guerlain’s Lip Lift is a miracle product or that there is nothing out out there like it. I think I’ll keep looking.

This was really expensive. Had high hopes for it. Hoped it would tone down my pigmented lips a bit, but nope. Felt really sticky and waxy.

I feel cheated. Once again, should have done better research on MUA before falling for promises. I thought it would be money well spent if this primer could extend the wear and improve the drying look of so many lipsticks I don’t use. It’s available in my small town and the SA said it was a very popular item. I should have noticed a main ingredient is mineral oil and it has parabens in it. Nothing here to justify a rediculous price tag. It doesn’t make my lip products last much longer and it doesn’t make my lips look smoother. In fact, it feels and looks a bit waxy and dry. Products like this make me angry, but I guess it’s my fault for not reading the ingredient list and being willing to shell out the cash (thankfully saved points at Shoppers) in the hopes of more wear from my neglected tubes. Not worth it!

My favorite product! If I could find something else out there that was less pricey, I would try it.
My lipstick goes on smoother and more even. This product prevents lipstick from running. The trick is knowing how to apply it. I have repeatedly purchased this product for 8 years! Even when it gets to the bottom, you can scrape a good deal more out of the tube.

This product is far too thick, and somehow manages to make lippies applied over-top cakey – especially lipsticks. I have never found a lip primer that helps keep my colours lasting longer, I think these kinds of products are unnecessary, especially at this price point. If you’re desperate just use your eye primer, nars proprime is wonderful and would probably work well, (if not better than this).

Guerlain’s KissKiss LipLift smoothing lipstick primer is one of my favorite products. I cant speak for its hydrating effect because I use other products to make sure my lips aren’t dry. What it does that I love is that it keep lipstick where it belongs-inside the lipline- and prevents feathering. Lipstick also lasts much longer. I am on my second tube and have recommended it to many. A superb product!

I’m big on lip primers and get annoyed with ones that dry the lips. This one is not drying but is nothing spectacular either. It didn’t seem to help keep my beautiful Guerlain lipstick on so well nor did it “lift” or otherwise improve the look of my lips. As far as repurchasing, eh.

Basically a lip primer. Lightly flesh-toned with the consistency and finish of a matte lipstick. Applied to clean bare lips, LipLift actually does help lipcolor last.
I noticed no particular benefit to the condition of my lips with the use of this product, but it wasn’t drying or otherwise unpleasant to use. Slight scent similar to Guerlain’s other lipstick formulas. The tube is scant for the price; looks like maybe 75% the size of a normal Guerlain lipstick.
Overpriced, underwhelming.
