I like this lip liner! It applies very smoothly and does not smudge/bleed easily. The down side is that it isn’t very pigmented, so it needs going over with multiple strokes.

I was recently looking for a drugstore alternative lip liner to go with my mac brave lipstick, and came along max factor colour elixir in the shade mauve moment. What a perfect combination!! Beautiful colour and applied wonderfully.
However, upon purchase I was curious as to how the product was sharpened due to its plastic exterior. I asked and the attendant who assured me that it sharpens just as a normal pencil with a normal make up pencil sharpener. This is unfortunately so far off true it’s unreal!!
When I had used up the sharp end, I took to my sharpener. Much to my disappointment it was an impossible task!! I tried as hard as I could. Willing for it to work as the colour is so perfect. But ended up halfway down the pencil with plastic sticking out everywhere. Soo disappointing.
So it’s a word of warning to you all, I don’t want anyone to experience my disappointment!
I did actually email max factor just because I urge them to change the packaging, and they very kindly sent me a £9 voucher. So I suppose there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Unfortunately my perfect mauve moment colour is not part of that light!

I have the shade 14 Brown n Nude.
The formula is perfect. It is creamy but not too creamy where the top will break off. It lasts for 5-6 hours on my lips.
I use this lip liner under Revlon’s Pink Truffle Lip Butter to make he colour last longer, and I use it under MAC’s Cosmo lip stick.
Highly recommend!

Really love this lipliner-have it in the colour 04 Pink Princess and it is the perfect pinky/red colour. It’s not too bright that it makes your lips look unnatural though.
Stays on for a long time and makes my lipstick look 100 times better
