I bought this and ABH Lip Gloss in Moon Jelly on National Lipstick Day earlier this week and I returned both. I watched a ton of Youtube videos swatching and reviewing these ABH lip glosses, so I tried my best to buy things I would love. Venus, like Moon Jelly, has extremely gritty chunks of glitter that you can really feel, and the taste/flavor of these lip glosses are overpoweringly artificial, sickeningly sweet and nearly vomit-inducing.
The Venus shade looked nice in the Youtube videos that I watched, but it was not nearly as nice on me in person and that doesn’t even matter because I simply could not stomach the flavor/taste. Just for reference, I enjoy the MAC and Kevyn Aucoin lip glosses; the NYX butter glosses are okay too. The ABH lip glosses seem to be maybe like the NYX butter glosses on ‘roid rage (steroids gone wrong).
I returned both ABH glosses on the same day I received and the minute after I tried them.
