This is the third product I’ve purchased from Milk and I’m really loving this gloss! It’s not without it faults, however.
First off, it can look a little milky (go figure) on the lips when you first apply it. You have to really sheer it out and work with it to get it evenend out. This is not a gloss you can apply without using a mirror. The shade may be an issue for those with deeper skin tones or naturally pigmented lips.
It doesn’t have any discernible scent or taste which I’m a fan of. It’s not extremely sticky or thick, it kind of falls somewhere in the middle. It’s very comfortable and wears for quite awhile. Over time it fades to just a really nice glowy sheen.
The color is really pretty but it’s VERY subtle on its own, and I wouldn’t call it holo…it’s more of a pearlescent peach effect. I find that it looks the best and stands out more when it’s applied over a lip color. I’ve used this over numerous mattes at this point with great success. The shade is just so sheer on its own that I really prefer it over a deeper shade to make it really pop. On its own it makes my lips look a little washed out.
It pairs really beautifully with the peach highlighter in the Lime Crime Hi-Lite palette. I don’t have the Mars highlighter stick from milk but I do have Supernova, they just don’t work together.
All in all, I’m really glad I bought this gloss and I’d likely repurchase it again. Is it my favorite gloss ever? No, but it’s definitely worth the purchase.

This is a nice product for those looking for a more subtle Holographic lip look. They currently have two colors to choose from, supernova and mars. This is more of a lip gloss, as the name states, and is far far more demure of a Holographic look. The formula is nice and non-drying so that is definitely a plus!
