This gloss is stunning. Every time I wear it I get compliments. The packaging is beautiful, I love that it has a brush applicator, nice scent and I can’t say enough about the color. Will definitely buy again.

This is a beautiful gloss – everything about it. I love the color, how it looks in the tube and on my lips. The packaging is elegant and luxurious; it makes me happy to put it on. Generally, it’s probably not for daytime use, but it just so great that I do wear it quite a lot, it is really shimmery and eye catching.
The one minor issue I have with it is the fact that I can feel the individual flakes of glitter when I rub my lips together, but I should just stop doing that, since that wears off this wonderful lip gloss. I still have to take a lippie off for that, because for 30 bucks it should be perfect!
But it contains 0,2‰ of 24 carats gold according to the ysl website, so maybe that explains it.

I do not think this a bold colour. It may look vibrant in the tube but it goes on extremely sheer and there’s not that much colour to it. On my lips it becomes the colour of my lips and makes it look “just bitten” like. I love this colour this for the summer times and it’s extremely wearable for everyday at work. EDIT (Sept 2008): Too sparkly for me and too expensive. Not worth it as it makes me look like a teenager.
