The packaging is a bit chintzy (the cap pops off) and I wish this pulled sliiiiiiighly more yellow/gold, but this easily rivals Ciate’s Dewy Stix. It looks wonderful in photos, especially over a sheer, bronzing moisturizer like Estee Lauder’s DayWear. Great value. I’d definitely buy this again.

Admittedly I am a cream product lover, I have been for years since my skin shifted from oily to dry (thanks hormones, you find so many ways to influence my body, lol). I routinely use either rms Living Luminizer or Burt’s Bees Highlight stick in Opal Mist but I couldn’t help myself when I saw this on sale at my local drugstore. As other reviewers mentioned the cap on this doesn’t feel like it secures well but the product – omg, this is exactly the wet glossy-looking skin I love to have! It is closer to Living Luminizer in terms of subtlety but with the ease of application in stick form like Burt’s Bees. I’m kicking myself for not purchasing this sooner. It is completely my jam! The shade is a champagne pink that looks neither yellow nor pink on the skin. It is more of a pale peachy beige, but wet/glossy more than anything. Staying power is good, lasts all day/night on me. If I’m looking for something a bit more intense I still apply this and follow up with a light dusting of powder highlight on top.

This highlighter really lives up to its name. It is truly a face gloss in stick form. Dose of Dew never looks unnatural no matter how many times I layer it on, it just looks like a dewy, sweaty sheen (not metallic or ashy). The product is a translucent pinky champagne, it has a bit more pigmentation compared to Ciaté Dewy Stix (which is straight up clear and quite sticky) but the pigmentation is nowhere near Benefit’s Watt’s Up.
The consistency is lightweight, thin and smooth. Even though this never sets down to a powder finish like some cream products, my hair never sticks to to my face. This is not at all transfer proof – if I accidentally touch my cheek some will come off on my finger. The wear time of is pretty good (7+ hours on my combo skin).
Side note: I use this on bare skin/on top of sunscreen (so no foundation), therefore I can’t speak for how it will perform over base products.
The packaging is cute, sleek and simple. I thought this would be pretty small but it is around the size of a regular glue stick (just longer). It is still a very travel friendly size. The cap however is fairly cheap feeling and there is practically no resistance when I pull at it. This has started uncapping itself in my bag a few times (a minor annoyance).
Overall, this is a good product and I am glad I purchased it. It’s great for those natural makeup days and it doesn’t break the bank. However, the cap does need improvement. I would definitely recommend (if you are okay with dealing with a slightly fiddly cap).

So I recently got into wearing a bit more editorial “fresh” makeup (the whole milk and glossier aesthetic you know which one I’m talking about) and I really wanted to try the glossy, almost wet looking highlight. This one seemed to be the perfect one for my pale skin so I picked it up and ive since used it almost every single day.
The stick is easy to use, just swipe it onto your skin and tap with your finger or a sponge to blend. I personally have quite good skin so on days when I’m in a hurry i just wear this and my brows and it helps me look somewhat put together.
The color is a pinky champange colour but the it doesnt really show up on my skin until it catches the light and when it does oh boy is it magical. Some people complained about it moving the foundation applied underneath but I personally havent experienced that yet.
All in all I would totally recommend this, especially to fair skinned people who like a natural but also wet and glossy highlight!
Edit: I’ve noticed that the product does slide of my skin if my hair or such brushes against it, therefore I sadly dont use it as much
