   MIxed feelings on these. I own 4/6 colors- I own Dream, Haze, Wink, and Grace.

   Wink- Looks purple in some of the website swatches, but it’s just a very cool toned pink which let me down. But this one probably has the smoothest formula out of all of them.

   Dream- Looks like a peach/gold reflect on the website images imo, but in real life it’s basically just pink. At least on my skin tone, but even in the pan it just looks like a warm pink. It’s not ugly or anything, just not what I wanted. I regret buying this one AND Wink. They look very different when swatched, but quite similar once applied to the face imo.

   Haze- A beautiful yellow/gold duochrome, emphasis on the yellow. I rarely find such good yellow gold.

   Grace- A soft purple reflect with a weird grayish base. The base isn’t super noticeable, I think I definitely am getting away with it, but it does leave a very slight gray cast if I look closely. Not sure how this would come off on other skin tones. Also the purple isn’t a super vibrant purple, it’s kind of subtle sadly.

   These are all a very balm-y, (true to name) dewy, oily consistency and I find they don’t really set or dry down much, which I enjoy. I do still see them on my face at night, so the longevity is good.

   They all apply ten times better with a brush rather than a finger (haven’t tried a sponge, I don’t like a sponge for cream/liquid face products). Wink looks good and intense with a finger, but the others look DULL (not just subtle, but way more dull) and accentuate the heck out of my pores/texture with a finger. With a brush they look AMAZING, blinding even (but you can get a softer glow with a sheer application), and SO smooth and just amazing. I rarely see such an insane difference between application method with highlighters. The brush I use is the AOA small stippling brush, which comes in the duo with the large stippling brush. It’s actually my go to cream highlighting brush now, but this review ain’t bout that. Brush takes them from decent to high end performance, imo.

   Most of these (all except Grace) have a white base, but don’t look ashy at all on my medium to tan skin. I find this to be common amongst liquid/cream highlighters, since they kind of sink into the skin rather than sitting on it the way powder would, you have a lot more leeway with color selections.

   So the application is tricky (but when it works, it WORKS), Grace has that weird base tone, but worst of all they break me out. The high points of my face usually aren’t areas where I struggle with acne EVER, so I know it’s these highlights because I’ve been wearing them nonstop. Obviously, just because they break me out doesn’t mean they will break everyone out. But I thought it was worth noting. I’ll still use them since I adore how they look, but I will do so more sparingly (I don’t get a break out every single time use one).

   Definite pros and cons to them, with the main pro obviously being the $1 price tag, which is outweighing a lot of the cons for me. If it wasn’t for the breakouts I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase these.
