Product would be a great goto shifter if didn’t crumble to pieces with application, a touch, years of what or wl could of been. Paginating is pretty. Like I said, would be an awesome product was not a mess

Aquamarine is a highlighter with a sheer tinted aqua base and with fine specks of silver microglitter throughout the formula. The powder is very finely milled and is translucent when applied. The aqua glow only shines through in select lighting, but is quite vivid when it does. The microglitter specks are fine and don’t outwear the base, so it is easy to buff them into the base making them hard to detect, so if you’re not a fan of glittery highlight,the fact that this formula contains a light dusting of them needn’t be a deterrent since it can be fairly subtle.
At first I was confused by how Aquamarine was released under the Alchemist line rather than the Metal Crush line, since the Alchemist highlighters don’t contain any shimmer/glitter and the Metal Crush ones do, but I quickly realized that it does belong under the Alchemist umbrella as it shares the same kind of sheer base, not the stronger more poppy bases of the heavy Metal ones. It’s my idea of a perfect highlighter; it’s not always just a visible strip of colour on the skin, so is both subtle and eyecatching, in the way the base shade hides and catches the light vividly. I’ve got no complaints with this and wish I’d found it sooner.

I really like the full sized alchemist palette so thought I’d buy this mini as its a new shade, called “{teal}aquamarine”. Kinda disappointed its not the same formula as the original, its a sheer glitter topper. A bunch of pressed glitter pieces in a sheer base without pigment. Doesn’t pick up on a brush well and is prone to bad fallout. The shift from silver to teal is barely noticeable, and its duochrome, NOT HOLO!! Feels and acts like kids loose glitter makeup.
You definitely need to have a sticky base with this one. It needs to be creamier to have something to “grip” to, as it just flies away from where you place it, then sticks to the skin where it lands. The glitter pieces are thin and lay flat, but that means it clings to bare skin like glue when it decides to. If using as an eyeshadow, do your eyes first then wash under your eyes to remove all the fallout, there will be alot and the glitter pieces are very hard to remove. I think it stays better on cheeks, but I don’t have a huge use for sheer glitter on the face that needs a separate sticky base 🙁
