I recently started using this after my sister’s recommendation. She has normal, straight hair and loves it as it keeps it soft and smooth. My hair needs ALL the help it can get, it’s very dry and frazzled/frizzy with a huge amount of shedding lately. To be fair, I have neglected my hair lately, and I think I definitely need Olaplex in my life at this stage. However, it did make my hair look much better than without, no weighing it down, nor any oiliness at all. It did leave it very soft and much more manageable. So, I’m satisfied at the moment. It cost 15 euros/100ml bottle. I also bought Wella’s Profesionnals Invigo Nutri-Enrich Deep Nourishing Shampoo to give a go also. I’m sure there must be holy grail oils out there if I do the research, but I’m very happy with this one for now.

The Wella SP Luxe Oil is honestly such an amazing product. My hairdresser used this on me before she flat ironed my hair and I haven’t stopped using it since.
It smells amazing. Its got such a luxurious scent that leaves your hair smelling beautiful. For those worried, the scent does dissipate and doesn’t linger for too long.
The oil itself isn’t sticky or too oily on the hair. You need 2 pumps maximum, depending on your hair length.
I use this after I blow dry my hair and right before I flat iron it. It makes my hair super shiny and healthy looking. It makes my hair really soft as well. My hair just looks so much better after I’vce applied it and it makes styling it easier because my hair doesn’t feel so rough. The product really conditions your hair with each use and over time it can help with styling damage.
I just think its a really good hair oil that does its job wonderfully.

I was first introduced to this product by my hairdresser. She used it before blow drying my hair and my hair looked amazing (no more fly aways or fluffy hair). I immediately ordered a bottle online and have been using it now since February every time I wash my hair. I have fine hair and this works miracles on my hair. It might be an oil but it’s very lightweight and makes it super soft. I use it in combination with the Klorane oats conditioner and my hair looks shiny and is so soft. I’ve now also bought the keratin spray from this line and it makes the oil work even better. Maybe this isn’t for all hair types but for my fine bleached hair it’s a lifesaver. I’ve tried Moroccan oil but hated the smell and it was way too greasy, it left my hair looking I put butter on it. This may not work for your hair, but for my really fine Scandinavian hair it’s really good.

This is my HG hair product. Been using it for about nine months every time after washing my hair and I’ve just opened my third bottle.
Now, I do have naturally soft and sleek hair. However, I regularly blow dry and straighten my hair and, despite using heat protection, have always struggled with split ends. Nothing seemed to work so I just started to regard it as a natural process. Could not have been more wrong! First time I went to get my hair cut after having used this product for about a month my hairdresser was absolutely stunned – I had no split ends whatsoever! She also told me that my hair was much shinier. And this was the same hairdresser who’s cut my hair for years and has always told me off for the heat damage.
Would highly recommend it if you’re struggling with split ends or dry/dull-looking hair.

It has a strong perfume scent, vanilla, musky, sickly-sweetness. It does smell like cough syrup. it is so far the only hair serum that makes my hands feel cold when I pump it to my hand and rub it. The coldness feeling of using alcohol on my hands. It seems to vaporise very fast and non oily at all. I use it as pre poo, after shampoo treatment and even if I use many pumps, after application, it does not make my hands oily at all and no sticky residue. it does make my haor smoother and defrizz but the effect goes fast after hours of application. it does not last long and maintain its performance. I wonder why such a pricy item contains alcohol denat in it. perhaps it serves as preservatives or act as some sort of agents to neutralise some ingredients in it. It labels as keratin protection and rated No. 3 on the bottle, which I supposed it means it protects the hair shafts and prevents loss of keratin from blow drying, heat usage on hair. No. 3 could be the level and power of style holding. But I would say it is an ordinary hair serum with a classy glass bottle described in a lovely name and it just works like other hair serum. it has a very light and runny texture and the scent is overpowering and too strong that it lingers all day long although the scent will fade after a while. it contains argan oil, sweet almond oil, camellia oil, and jojoba oil which are very nutritive to hair amd improves hair conditions and prevent dryness and split ends. it can be use as pre poo, after shampoo, after blow dry to add extra smoothness. it’s like gathering up five wonders in just a bottle. it comes in a 150ml, which could last for sometime. Good packaging and so far there is no leakage or spill, which is very impressive comparing to those highly priced but in a plastic bottle.

Will soften hair. However, with extended use will also result in build-up that renders hair too soft to manageably style. Prepare for flat, lank hair to follow in that scenario!

Just an average performing hair oil with an expensive price tag. First I love that it has argan, jojoba and sweet almond oils. All are great skin/hair oils. Scent was divine. Product can be apply to dry and wet hair. My dislikes: contains denatured alcohol and silicone.
Worked well on my fine color treated hair, but I like to avoid silicones and alcohol as much as possible. Left hair soft, manageable and not weigh down.

Not great… Doesn’t soften the hair like Moroccan oil, it just seems to glide on and not really make much of a difference to hair softness or manageability. And it’s expensive! I am trying to finish this bottle before going back to Moroccan oil but I’m struggling.

I finally finished my bottle of Moroccanoil and wanted to try out some other hair oils. I received a generous sample of this oil at a beauty supplies shop and used it for about two weeks. I was especially curious to try it since it contains keratin and I thought it was best of both worlds: Moisture and protein in one product. Unfortunately, I did not experience any of the benefits I was expecting to get from a hair oil: It did not help with my hair’s elasticity or manageability and did not help detangle or dry hair faster. It helped with hydration and smoothness and my hair felt stronger, though not enough to trade a protein treatment. I also dislike the texture since it’s very heavy. It might take a while to absorbs so I’d only recommend it over night if you’ve got fine hair. My impression is that they’ve tried to make a hybrid product but failed to make one that is good enough to replace other products and stand on its own. It didn’t make my hair worse but the benefits are not enough to purchase.
