   Worst ever i got the copper colour and platinum and copper seems fine however platinum is not. After perfectly highlighting my hair and restoring it with a protein treatment it was like silk i tried the platinum tint. I was left with a sticky sap like residue on my scalp and roots of hair the rest of my hair feels like rubber, it’s thinned out like half my amount of hair is gone. Now i look like i’m balding at my roots you can see through my hair at the scalp due to this sticky residue that will not come off or so i hope anyways. I’ve used purifying shampoo, coconut oil and more and shampooed like crazy and nothing is removing this sap residue from my scalp/hair. The only strange thing i noticed about the conditioner was it had small white balls mixed in with the light purple coloured conditioner, i’m wondering if that what caused this to happen. I’ll never ever use anything from this brand again in my life, my hair is ruined dead dry thin and sticky now, plus the toning effect is unnoticeable, now i’m full of brass and ugly orange/rust tones from all this shampooing and having to try using the purifying shampoo to remove it. It won’t come out though and i do not know how to get this sticky sap residue off my scalp and hair!!!! Use at your own risk i’m not joking or overreacting. I had no idea a conditioning treatment could cause such problems. I’ve ruined my hair many times with bleach and other things and i’ve had my hair melt from bleach and even that was better than what i’m having from using this stuff and way easier to fix, this is unfixable. If i had a wig i would shave my head right now and deal with a few months or wig wearing. I mean this is stupid my roots of hair are stuck to my scalp like it’s been glued to my head.

   My hair is a natural medium to light auburn, and I color the roots about every 4 weeks to maintain the auburn, and also have subtle gold/copper highlights done at the salon quarterly. I love the Biotera Illuminator and use both the shiny copper and the shiny gold, sometimes mixing them together. This, along with the Tressa Watercolors shampoos (I use various shades of red, gold, copper – these shades all help maintain my roots as well as my hair color), are so helpful in maintaining my color(s), and I use the Bioterra about twice a week, leaving it in for 10 to 20 minutes. Bioterra provides a nice healthy sheen, whether I use the gold or the copper. It’s not meant to actually “color” your hair – it’s a wonderful, and helpful addition to enhance your color!

   I saw this at Sally’s and thought why not try it. I was looking for a purple hair treatment as shimmer lights conditioner is just too drying on my hair. My hair is a level 11 or above its that Icy white silver shade I use Wellas frosty ash for my colour and my hair does get brassy. Also it is nice to have a colour refresher so I thought I might as well give this a shot. It’s paraben free and is a light purple shade the name on the tube is Shiny Platinum. It smells really nice and you leave it in for a few minutes and it’s supposed to last through a few shampoos.

   Since I used it my hair feels so good no drying at all. It’s a lighter purple than I’m used to but it really toned my hair well. All the brass from the environment is gone and my hair is a soft white silver blonde. My waist length wavy hair feels so good. I used a deep conditioner before this but I’m stoked that it smells good and didn’t dry my hair out at all. It toned it really well. I don’t think this could be used in place of a standard toner but for upkeep it’s perfect. I couldn’t be happier I just wish it came in a bigger tube. All in all I’m very pleased with this and will totally repurchase it. Recommended.
