Not one to wear concealer but wanting a little something more than my eye cream I got a couple of samples from Sephora before deciding it was worth the price for me to purchase it. I agree with those that say it is not much in the coverage department but I had no expectation that it would be. I am very happy with an emollient brightening cream with just enough of a concealing shade to brighten and provide a hint of correction to the under eye area. I read some reviews where people found this to apply patchy, but I did not find this to be the case, maybe because I apply my eye cream first and therefore have a smooth, moisturized base. The other reason I really like this product is that it doesn’t settle into fine lines. Given the price and the rather niche use for this product it might not be what most people are looking for. It does suit my needs very well. Will I repurchase once I use up the full size? Right now I say yes, but as I age if I find this starts to accentuate fine lines or if I need something with higher coverage then I would probably not repurchase.

I am very impressed with this cream it is a brightener NOT a concealer, if concealing is what you want/need/desire you will be dissatisfied with this cream. I use this at the very very top of my cheekbone, the area directly below the eye socket depression. I place a few small dots, then pat-pat-pat and then…lightly move your fingertips back and forth to get a nice even distribution, I also use this around the outside of my nostrils as well as the corners of my mouth.
The packaging is absurd and that’s putting it nicely as it comes in a silly, overpackaged, over-the-top orb about the size of a ping-pong ball. I had a devil of a time just trying to figure out how to open it, once opened I transferred the contents to a Givenchy cream eyeshadow container(remember nice easy to open screw top containers?)and I had enough leftover to fill one of the sample size jar/pots that Nordstrom uses and will happily give you extra nice fresh clean ones.
I do think the price is fair because A) It works for me and B) I am strangely accustomed to luxury makeup/treatment products and have fallen hard and been seduced long ago to the Made in France tag or Made in Italy…you get the picture I’m sure.
Just do keep in mind that this is NOT a concealer nor is it represented as such.

I went through a few weeks of samples before deciding to purchase a full size recently..I love this product! There’s a lot of mixed reviews, but I think there’s a lot of expectations that this will have amazing coverage. Based on what this is “a tinted cream” it provides a nice slight tint on days that I don’t want/need bulletproof coverage..its hydrating, and gives a sheen and slight tint to the under eye area, and is perfect on days where I use a little tinted sunscreen, bronzer, and a tinted balm. I will definitely repurchase.

I agree with many others on the fussiness of the product. I have found to use it without being weird and patchy I need to use an eye cream first, then this. I can just tap it out like normal and have no issues, no need for windshield washer motion etc. The other thing that is annoying is the packaging. Sure, it’s cute but why couldn’t they put it in a pump? I am pretty sure I would use it more often if it were in a pump instead of this slippery small ball. That said, when my eyes are prepped and I have the time to use the right amount, it’s very very nice. I hope to use it up and never repurchase.

This is a very light, cream-to-water with pigment under eye treatment. It does work as a concealer and it’s very good for older eyes as it’s not liable to crease. You use “a rice grain” amount and believe me, a little goes a loooooooonnnng way. Three tiny dots and I mean tiny under each eye and I can even blend it down my cheeks below the eye socket.
The colors, there are three and they aren’t very accurate. The lightest, Moonlight, is the one I got because I’m medium fair. But it’s a tad lighter than I’d like. The next color looked too dark and at this price, unless they have a sample packet, I’ll just deal with it.
The pearl shaped container is hard to open first time. Nothing to grip on. It unscrews. So I got out some shelf liner (that thin webbing of foam) the cheap stuff from Dollar Tree which is not great on your shelves but it’s what we use for guitar pads to keep the guitar from skidding off your legs (I know, weird.) I used it as a grabber and could unscrew the cap. Afterwards, it’s easy to open and close.
Unlike the creams, does not come with a spoon, so perhaps you have a clean cotton bud or something like that to dip into it.
Because it doesn’t crease, I’m happy with it. But I think Shape Tape is still the better choice and it lasts a long time and you have more color choice. It can crease, however, after long days.

Amazing little product. I don’t like using a lot of makeup, so this is good for me. While it’s not a concealer, it works well for me as one. It brights up and soothes my dry under eye area. Plus, it’s so nourishing.

This has become a staple in my morning routine and I use this everyday. Don’t think of this as a concealer (which most people seem to think it is), but think of it as a tinted moisturizer for your eyes. You really have to apply this with your fingers to warm up and breakdown the product, It does not apply well with a brush or sponge.
This smooths, brightens, color corrects and treats the eye area. Yep, the added benefits of this being an actual skincare treatment for the eye area. If this does not conceal enough, I recommend putting concealer ON TOP.
I know the shade ranges are limited but this is not meant to be a concealer, so even if its a little light at first, it is meant to treat and brighten. Just put your regular concealer on top.
I love this. My only issue is the packaging. While cute, its so darn small and round that I constantly drop it. It just slips out of my hand like every morning. Hahaha

Whoa! Surprised at the bad reviews of this because I love this illuminating eye treatment. First of all, it is an eye treatment. And it’s packed with some nice antioxidants. The base is a water-gel, so not SUPER thick or overly moisturizing. Just enough. I think a lot of people who have tried this are missing the mark: don’t use this like a concealer, use as an illuminating eye cream. Use little. Tap, smooth, tap, and voila, it works beautifully. Diffuses light, not fully covers. If you use too much it becomes a bit of a hot mess, honestly. A rice grain amount per eye of ANY eye treatment is plenty (one reviewer mentioned this is not enough, but that is a lot product for an orbital are). My favorite thing about this tough, is that it makes almost any concealer I do want to use that day look perfect. It’s like the perfect primer for concealing! I’ve used 3 different concealers with it and it doesn’t crease or look dry at all. Most often though, I use it on its own, since I’m not a huge makeup wearer these days (as an esthetician I don’t like steaming over a full face of makeup)! I thought this was a bit gimmicky for Tatcha at first, maybe to appeal just to a younger client, but my 30+ eyes love this.

This is stunning. On weekends I just tap this under my eyes and around my eye contour and it unfailingly makes me look awake and revived. The trick is to tap, very gently and patiently, no rubbing at all, and this creates a beautiful, refreshed effect to undereye. I have occasionally taken it farther down to cheekbone and around my nose where I have a lot of redness and it has done a great job there also. it tends to not play nicely with other products so layer with caution. It is pricey, and I do have other products that also do this job, but there is something about using this beautiful product in it’s beautiful jar (:

This does exactly what I was hoping it would do for me and I will repurchase. That being said, I definitely don’t think it’s for everyone. I have very mild darkness under my eyes but I don’t like to use concealer because I feel that it ages me. This gives just enough brightening to help with the area while also providing some anti aging benefits. The price seems a little expensive at first glance, however when you consider the amount of product and the small amount you use each time it’s actually quite reasonable! I would prefer the product in a more sanitary and practical container, but I guess that squeeze tubes aren’t boojie enough and pumps waste too much product. 🙂
