My hair don’t like overcmoisturized however love OIL treatment.
I apply 30min before shampoo at ear down , then wash whatever shampoo &conditioner my fave,
My hair shine and bounce.love phytonecter.
What I like this OIL treatment is easy to wash out,
I don’t feel any greesy feel after shampoo eventhough it’s SLS free shampoo.
Some oil tratment needs to wash by SLS contain shampoo
My scalp get react in the case.
Only dislike this OIL is the smell.

I definitely saw a difference after using this product — I have used it twice now, and both times my dry, frizzy hair had much more shine (not that it will ever glow in the dark), and was very manageable. I didn’t even need a conditioner afterwards.
But it is indeed very expensive, and I note that one reviewer said she got the same results with olive oil, so maybe I’ll try that. On the other hand, I don’t want to go around smelling like olive oil…

This is a HG hair treatment for my dry, colored blonde long hair. I have to have it! It’s so easy to use because you apply it to dirty hair (NOT scalp), leave in a while before you shampoo, and voila – smooth, shiny, reinforced hair! I live at the beach and without this stuff the sun fries my hair (even with sunscreen products) – maybe it’s the ocean water, too. Phytonectar seems to repair that damage, plus keep it shiny and healthy looking even when I blow dry and flat iron (I only iron on weekends). It’s actually in my hair now as I write this review (that is what reminded me to do this). The best thing is that it does not run down your neck and back or get all over the place like many “oil-based” conditioners…if you’ve ever been through the horror of coconut oil running all over the place, you know what I mean. So, no mess, although I have never slept in it – I haven’t seen the need to leave it on that long because it “works”! The smell is great and I love the pump bottle – I put 10 pumps on each side of my hair, then twist it into two clips for about 30 mins. The price is a bit much but you can find it cheaper on Am@zon and @verstock, etc. If you have colored, dry and porous hair, you will LOVE this treatment. If your hair is already healthy or virgin hair, it probably won’t do a lot for you, explaining the negative reviews. I don’t see how anyone with needy, dry hair could live without this stuff. I have tried all of the expensive brands’ masks and this is my favorite (I also love Rene Furterer Karite for softening but it is super-expensive). The bottle seems like it will last through around 10 uses, so maybe the price isn’t so bad afterall. I follow this with Phytonectar shampoo or Phytocayne (two light lathers), and the results are amazing. It leaves my hair without tangles and soft but also strengthened and more elastic – and that is something other oils will not do. Also, it does not “weigh” the hair down – a definite plus! My hair still sheds a lot but it at least appears stronger after using this 5 or 6 times. Don’t forget to shake it first!

My hair is straight long and highlighted. It has become fuzzy on the ends. This is a good over night treatment for the ends. it is HEAVY. dont expect it to wash all out of your hair either. I usually will use this at night, wash in the morning and just know that my hair will be a bit limp that day. But i do feel this is good for the hair every now and then.
Update:While I do like using the Nectar on my dry ends before I shampoo sometimes, I switched to Briogeo and cannot be happier. The brand is big on no sulfates and no silicones and I really dont care about that stuff honestly. But they use such good ingredients to moisturize the actual hair instead of coating it with silicones. Which I think silicones are fine but you do have to realize they will build up and cause additional dryness to the hair if not removed fully once in a while. My hair is always bouncy and full now. In the past I have used “no silicone and no sulfate” shampoos before but they always left my hair staticy and dry. But Briogeo seems to almost make my split ends disappear . I think my hair actually soaks up the product and seems to be healthier. I use the green color “Be gentle be kind” shampoo/conditioner and then sometimes the “Dont despair repair” mask with moisture shampoo. I really like all their products.

This did nothing to my hair and it´s expensive. The smell is ok and is easy to apply. I leave it all night because i found 10 minutes were not enough. All night was not enough either to see good results. My hair was not softer or repaired. Waste of money.

Yes, this product is expensive but it’s a nice treat for my hair. My Mom uses it and I decided to give it a try when I dropped BIG bucks on an edgy salon cut with highlights (double process color since my hair is so dark). My hair is also relaxed so I was worried about damage. I saw results after the first use. I left this on, put my hair in a ponytail and ran errands for a few hours. I shampooed when I got home and followed up with a moisturizing conditioner. My hair was so soft with no frizz and was easy to detangle! Please note that Phytonectar is a PROTEIN treatment that you use before you shampoo your hair. Not everyone needs a great deal of protein for their hair. I do, as it’s chemically treated and can tend to be dry at times. BUT protein overload can lead to dry hair and breakage. So you must balance protein with moisture. I use Nexxus Humectress Moisturizing Conditioner after I shampoo my hair and it balances the protein treatment and moisture perfectly.
I’m giving Phyonectar a 4 only because of the price (It’s okay because I wash my hair every 5-7 days) AND because of the glass bottle. I would be upset if it broke or slipped out of my hands while I’m using it. For this reason, it does NOT go in my shower and I handle it with caution. But I will purchase again unless I hear about another miracle oil/protein treatment that beats this…

once you find a brand that your hair loves, you really just can’t go back.
phyto is mine. the girl who does my hair used this nectar before a single process, and my hair was ridiculously soft and shiny.
for $30 or so at Ulta, i can get equally as shiny and smooth hair. i put it on 30 mins before shampooing, or i sleep in it. my hair is in the best shape it’s ever been, regardless.

One of my HG products! I flat iron every day in the summer and needed something to repair all the damage. I tried this on the recommendation of a friend. You use this on dirty hair b/c you will need to shampoo afterwards. I section my hair into 4 ponytails and apply Phytonectar to the ends. I coat the ends then work whatever is left on my hands to the top of my head. After leaving in for at least half an hour, sometimes I sleep in it, I rinser then shampoo and condition as usual. I have noticed my hair doesn’t seem as damaged and has more shine, less split ends and feels softer after using. A few important things to note: *Do not apply to scalp, *Don’t overuse! I use this twice a month and that’s all I need. I always shampoo and condition with Phytojoba following this treatment. As an added bonus, Phytonectar smells great!

Not sure how I feel about this pre-shampoo pil treatment. Honestly? It smells OK – not bad and not awesome. It definitely added oil to my dry, fine hair – and yes, like any oil – it has the potential for buildpup – so cleanse well afterward!
Meanwhile for the high price (I was lucky and got a cheap travel size as part of a kit with other products that I love, like phytonectar shampoo) I would pass – olive oil is about the same effect for me. Sorry.

I’m really surprised on the low ratings for this product. I used this twice already and my hair is in great shape. I have thick hair that dries out easily naturally since I don’t dye my hair and rarely heat-process it. I left this on for about 2 hrs and then the next time I left it on overnight. When I washed it out, I blow dried my hair and WOW! My hair looked soooo healthy, thick, and shiny. I didn’t even need to use any shine or frizz serums afterwards. Phytonectar really worked for me and I’ll probably always have it in my cabinet for a deep treatment.
