This will be a short review because I feel bad writing it but it’s the truth. I used the Phyto Phytolium 4 to help with my naturally thinning hair. I used an entire box and then repurchased and almost finished the second box. I stopped because I noticed my hair was falling out and had become significantly thinner. This product was the only change I made in my hair care. Also I had no other life events or issues that would have caused such drastic hair loss. This happened to me about 6 months ago and I’m still working to improve my hair with micro needling. Obviously there is no proof this product caused my thinning but it was the only change I made to my hair in over 2 years. I wish I had just been content with my hair before I used this product because I would have a lot more then I do now 🙁

I have just finished using the third box of Phyto. Although it is pricey, it works. Used it twice a week on damp hair. It’s got a herby-woody smell, but not too bad.
The stuff is easy to apply because of the screw top applicator. In fact I found that my hair fall decreased after the third application, which is pretty amazing.
I could tell that hair fall had decreased significantly because there was much less hair in the shower drain and on the end of the hoover brush. Well worth trying despite the price.

I’m on my second course of Phytolium. I don’t think it makes my hair grow much faster than usual; however my hair fall slows, and there’s obvious new growth around my hairline! These tiny hairs are growing very quickly, because I only started using the product maybe two months ago and they’re almost 2 cm long. for reference, my hair normally grows maybe a half cm every 4-6 weeks. I think the product stimulates follicles that were inactive.
I go back on Phytolium any time I notice a lot of hair starting to fall, and it does slow it, but not as dramatically as Phytocyane, which seemed to stop it dead. However, I think Phytolium does more to stimulate new hair growth.
Phyto’s website emphasizes that Phytocyane is meant specifically for more transient or temporary thinning and loss, maybe due to an illness, medication, or pregnancy. The Phytolium products are for men, or women with genetically thin hair. I fall into both categories, and I’ve been alternating any time I start to notice a lot of hair fall again. I do find the packaging of Phytolium much easier to use. There’s a little plastic nozzle you screw onto the top of the glass vial, so you can squeeze out a drop at a time onto the scalp. The amount in the vial is usually just enough to do the top, crown and sides of my scalp (whereas Phytocyane covered almost my entire scalp). This serum goes directly onto your scalp after shampooing and towel drying.
I spoke to a Phyto rep and she recommended a cycle of two or three boxes any time you start to have a lot of hair fall. For the first month, you use a vial every second day, then once or twice a week until you run out. Then I’m normally fine for several months.
This stuff is monstrously expensive, at $70 or $75 Canadian for 12 ampoules, but it’s so effective that I buy it anytime Sephora offers a discount or 3x points on hair care. If you go to an in-store event, sometimes the rep gives out little bonus freebies, and sometimes there’s even a bonus full-size shampoo packaged in with the root serum. Keep an eye out!

Phytolim is a product for thinning hair that works. I have thinning hair and I burnt it off in a bad bleach so I used this and the vitamins to help speed growth. My hair is thicker now. The product does not always cause more growth but it will reduce or stop hair loss. It is important to note that phytolim is for all hair loss except hormonal and phytocayne is or pregnancy or menopausal hair loss. Make sure, if you are wanting to purchase, that you buy the correct formula for your concerns.

I am very skeptical about so-called “miracle” products and especially those for thinning hair, but I had to come provide a review. I have used both Phytocyane and the Phytolium products, and I think they really do work. And while I like them both I think this Phytolium one is more effective, even though the smell is quite horrible.
I first purchased these products a few years ago, when hormonal imbalances caused me acute hair loss. I have used it as directed since then, currently on about a once-weekly schedule, and I have never had hair that is so long and healthy. In fact, I’m now 50 years old and dye my hair jet black every month … and yet have beautiful healthy hair down the middle of my back — which is at least 6 inches longer than ever before in my entire life. I also have received actual *compliments* about my hair from total strangers — which is unheard of because even at its best my hair has historically been scraggly and in bad shape.
it’s a very pricy product, and sometimes I use only half a bottle per application. But it does seem to work and I keep repurchasing with no regrets.

I’ve used both the Phytocyane and the Phytolium thinning hair treatments since I noticed my hair started to get thin last year. I feel the Phytocyane is good for daytime as it adds volume to the hair. For thinning, though, I think this one is the better of the two. I have to use it at night because it does weigh the hair down but it smells nice. think it works well because my hairstylist commented the other day how my hair got thicker since the last time I saw her three months prior. My mother says my hair looks thicker too. It is expensive but one box lasts me about 12 weeks since I use a third of the vial per treatment. To be honest, I think you can get a pretty generous amount across the whole scalp with no more than half a bottle. The directions say use one whole vial per treatment but I don’t think it’s necessary. I put it on my scalp when my hair is dry. It’s not magic potion that will give you a luscious mane of hair you never had but I think it wakes up follicles that have gone dormant. I also like that you can go on and off with this without a problem unlike Rogaine, which I’ve avoided since you pretty much have to stay committed continuously for life because new growth can fall out again if you go off that one for a few months.

PHYTO called on its finest experts to formulate PhytoLium 4, the first anti hair-loss product to protect the hair’s follicle cells and reserve cells for the production of future hair. PhytoLium 4 is not just a high-powered anti hair-loss product, it is the best partner in preserving your hair capital. Thanks to CapicellPro, a doubly patented plant complex, existing hair is stimulated and future hair is preserved. Hair acquires longevity to attain a normal life span and regrowth cycles are regulated in the long-term. Shiitake stimulates the production of the longevity proteins (sirtuin) conducive to cell survival and contributing to the self-defense system. Stem-cell extract, obtained from the wild apple tree, helps to preserve the follicle cells to prolong hair life. Serenoa extract, combined with the cleansing and stimulating properties of sage, cajeput, rosemary, lemon and cypress essential oils, slows hair loss and regenerates the hair-bulb environment. Solanum glycoproteins, a patented active ingredient, act on the hair bulb to tone and stimulate hair growth. Grape procyanidols and cananga essential oil, together forming a patented complex, protect the tissues around the hair bulb to promote denser and more vigorous growth. Clinical testing under dermatological supervision has shown 88% anti hair-thinning effectiveness. 69% of the volunteers reported stronger hair and 63% reported denser hair.
