I tried the Color Savior and loved it then I read a review on the Restore & thought I would try it since I color my hair (professionally) every 4 weeks. Does not come near the Savior line imo. I have coarse thick hair & Restore made my hair feel dry from the time I rinsed it out. I tried it on 3 occasions to make sure it was the conditioner. Going back to the Savior line.

This review is for the Reconstruct mask (in the jar). I typically only write a review if I have an omg moment (very good or very bad). I am a big AG user (an ex-Kerastase fan) and I bought this for my daughter who has very thick, hard to manage hair. I used it on my fine (but lots of it) hair the other day and can’t believe how great it made my hair look and feel. It is soft, shiny and full. My highlights and lowlights look completely refreshed (like they were just done). Conditioner is touch and go for me and can easily weigh my hair down. But this product is a winner for me. 5 stars. I’ll probably only use about once or twice a month. And will shampoo with my clarifying shampoo prior to applying it.

Alright, so I got this due to the fact that my hair is fine, and VERY easily damaged.. whether it be from coloring, or flat ironing and all that “good” stuff us women do to our hair to look pretty haha. I’m using the Fast Food sulfate free shampoo from AG before this, and as far as I can tell, they seem to work great together. I really love the consistency of this product, kind of like a body butter, which I guess is due to the fact that there is shea butter in it. It also smells aaaaaamazing, like sugar cookies or something sweet, but not too overpowering. When I do use this product, I don’t find that it really leaves my hair super soft while my hair is still wet, but once my hair is dry, it feels really light, and bouncy, and healthy and shiny, and just wow. This product has done wonderful things after only two uses. I absolutely love it. Also, it’s made in Canada, and cruelty free, which is another huge plus!

Way too thick. The pump takes like 40 seconds to get from the bottom to the top when you press product out. Nothing special either. Have to add a ton of water for the product to sink in. I honestly like LivingProof, KMS, Ojon or Pantene Age Defy much better.

Just used this for the first time today after redoing my platinum blonde hair; it came as a free gift with the purchase of the A/G Keratin Repair Conditioner, which I will review soon as well.
The scent of this stuff is AMAZING. Smells like a butter cream cookie!
The consistency is thick and whipped, sort of like a body butter.
I slathered about a quarter handful on my hair after rinsing out the colour and using Schwarzkopf’s Colour Rescue Silver Repair shampoo for toning, so you can imagine that my hair was quite dry. Left it on for 5 minutes then rinsed and blow dried. My hair feels incredibly soft and bouncy; this left no residue behind and does not weigh down my very fine hair. I would recommend this to anyone who bleaches or high-lifts their hair, especially those with fine/thin hair like myself. Will definitely buy some after my free sample runs out, though that may be awhile, it is a VERY generous amount 🙂
