I love this product but it took me a few times to figure out how best to use it for my curly hair. I don’t use it according to the directions on the back. Here’s my routine that works for my hair:
–No Poo; rinse
–One Condition; rinse
–After done showering, flip head over and scrunch out excess water
–Take nickle size of Heaven In Hair and scrunch through wet hair
–Take a Curls Like Us Curl Cloth towel and scrunch out water
–Apply 2 quarter size and 2 dime size amounts of Arc Angel to front, back and sides of my hair
–Flip hair over and finger part
–Let hair air dry while doing makeup then diffuse on low using pixi curl diffusing method
–Apply Set it free
Without the Heaven in Hair, my hair looks frizzy. It really tames and defines my curls. I don’t like having to unscrew the jar cap while my head is upside down so I transferred some into a travel size bottle that I squeeze.

This is a deep conditioner for those with curly hair, which tends to be coarse and/or dehydrated. It is NOT MEANT for people with fine, straight hair. I use this once or twice a week, after using Low Poo, and the other days I use No Poo and One Condition. This system works amazingly well, and my hair is smooth and soft on this, the most muggiest of days. If you do not have the hair type for this product, do not use it! It smells somewhat herbally and fruity and the scent is strong. If you do not like it, you will not like this product.

Wonderful deep conditioner!
Here’s how I used it: after washing hair, I squeeze out the water out of my hair. I put on some of the conditioner, especially at the ends of my hair. I have long hair and I didn’t need that much, compared to how much is in the jar. (Not using it in the shower makes the jar easier to use). Then I put my hair under a shower cap and took a long bath (45+ minutes). Then I rinsed out the conditioner. The product is scented like the other Devacurl products, and I don’t mind the smell. After using this conditioner my hair feels really soft, and I can’t help but keep touching it! For reference my hair is wavy to curly in texture and fine/medium in thickness, plus it’s halfway down my back. Love this conditioner!
